While the three young acolytes remained focused on their training, Ery approached the huge door and stood silently before it for a while.

This ominous door was his waypoint, a crucial connection to the intricate web of the Khaos Domain. It interlinks with thousands of other waypoints, so naturally occurring, so constructed, and so connected to the personal domain of other Khaos seeds.

Throughout his four years of exploration into the secrets of Khaos space and his growing comprehension of the law of space, Ery learned much about its strengths and limitations.

The primordial wisp of Khaos possessed a godly power to connect spaces as vast as the four quadrants of the human and elves universe. However, its greatness was constrained by the strength of its users. Those in a higher realm of power, or those with a high comprehension of the law of space, would gain a significant advantage from harnessing this Khaos space.

There was also special access, given to those recognized by the entity; firstly, the Khaos seeds; secondly, the Khaos Guardian; and finally, the Khaos Champion.

As Ery touched the waypoint door, he sent his consciousness to access the accumulated power within. His comprehension of the law, coupled with his status as the Khaos Champion, determined the distance he could travel and the eligible destinations he could access.

Recently, Ery found that entering the Khaos hub was unnecessary. The hub existed solely within one's consciousness, no physical body actually entered the floating rock space. Hence why the rules of Khaos were so strict: no combat, and not even the exchange of items were possible.

As Ery's consciousness delved deeper into the Khaos energy, he was presented with hundreds of choices regarding his destination. Among them were two constructed waypoints: one leading to the Earth Moon Base, and the other to Terra Palace. Alternatively, he could opt for one of the two available Khaos gates: one leading to Killgaragah, attached to Morgana, and the other to Chututulu, situated within the Alvanic mountain.

Despite his status and strength, Ery understood that all physical teleportations via Khaos were one-way trips. Upon entering, his personal waypoints within his spatial aperture would be teleported along with him. Therefore, while Ery could reach any of these destinations, he wouldn't be able to return to the academy using Khaos space. Instead, he would need to spend days traveling back via conventional ans.

This advantage was significantly greater compared to those recognized solely as Khaos seeds. Without the presence of a Khaos Champion to open the gate for them or a Khaos Guardian attached to them, they would only have access to the Khaos gates or the constructed gates, with no access to other waypoints. At best, they could only send ssages through them.

On the contrary, Morgana, acknowledged as one of the Khaos Champions, enjoyed a similar advantage to Ery's, albeit with a minor difference due to her almost nonexistent comprehension of space, which limited her distance. However, to circumvent this limitation, she could utilize the constructed gates, traveling to the Earth Moon Base gate in the Alpha quadrant, thereby shortening her distance before accessing Ery's waypoints in the Alpha Quadrant Magus Academy. Nevertheless, her limitations prevented her from opening paths to other Khaos seeds.

Given their current situation, to ensure Morgana's quick ability to return to her pirate hunting activities, she would have to leave Killgragah behind and leave through her personal waypoints.

With such arrangents, monts after Ery contacted Morgana, who was aboard the Gilgash warship, the ominous door in front of him started to glow with a vibrant crimson hue. Slowly, almost ethereally, the figure of Morgana materialized through the door.

However, upon her arrival, Ery's expression shifted to one of concern. He released a heavy sigh before addressing her. "You could have just sent the item; there was no need to co here personally."

Ery's words were laced with worry, knowing the strain and exhaustion that interplanetary travel could bring. He watched as it took her a mont to regain her composure, her breaths coming slightly labored as she adjusted to the transition.

The sudden appearance of Morgana drew the attention of the three acolytes, who paused their training to observe her arrival with a mix of curiosity and awe. After a mont, they returned to their practice.

Now that Morgana had regained her strength, Ery gestured for her to follow him. Together, they ventured into one of the tunnels within the chamber, descending down a set of stone stairs that led deeper into the mountain.

As they descended, the air grew cooler, and the surroundings transitioned into the underground realm of the mountain. This second layer within Ery's Magus Domain was shrouded in darkness, illuminated only by the soft glow of magical torches lining the walls.

The chamber they entered looked like a dungeon, with stone walls and rough-hewn corridors stretching into the distance. But amidst the rugged surroundings, there were signs of activity—a collection of tools, workbenches cluttered with various materials, and stone furniture arranged in a functional manner.

This was Ery's secret workshop, a hidden sanctuary where he pursued his special projects.

As they entered the underground chamber, a figure materialized from thin air—a girl with curved horns protruding from either side of her head. This was Livi, the human form of the celestial being Baphot, who had existed for four thousand years. She gave a respectful bow to Ery, her master, and inquired, "Master, what can I help you with today?"

Ery turned to Morgana as she produced the storage ring. From within the ring erged a glowing orb, their luminous forms pulsating with restless energy. This orb was a Magus Spirit soul, remnants of defeated Magus whose essence lingered in the mortal realm.

With a deft motion, Ery stretched out his hand, his fingers weaving through the air as he commanded the orbs to co to him. It floating obediently into his outstretched palm, where its ethereal glow seed to dance and flicker

"Let's see what data we can glean from this pirate,"

This was Ery's way of supporting the ongoing efforts of the buccaneer hunting party. Just recently, they successfully dismantled another pirate band, acquiring the soul of a deceased pirate magus in the process.

Using his improved spirit-reading abilities, Ery intended to probe the minds of this captured soul. Each soul he questioned provided valuable insights into the buccaneer underworld—details of their operations, their allies, and their secret bases. It was a necessary tacticin their ongoing campaign against piracy.
