The intense soul battle exacted a trendous toll on Ery. His robust half-blood physique provided no advantage in such a ntal struggle. Every maneuver, every tactic employed was a product of his ntal resilience. It was a grueling contest of wits, a clash of ever-shifting thoughts.
For Ery, the thirty-minute soul battle was akin to a grueling three-day ordeal. When he finally erged victorious, he found himself depleted of strength, unable to fully restrain his defeated opponent. Thus, Ery resorted to creating a specialized chamber within his aperture, sealing Mo Yan within its confines.
"YOU CAN'T HOLD HERE!" Mo Yan's defiant voice echoed within Ery's mind, causing him a throbbing headache even in victory.
As Ery regained consciousness, his exhausted mind had to deal with the likes of Lucius Corvin, the figure he despised most. Doubt flickered in the patriarch's eyes as he scrutinized Ery's identity.
"Is it really you, or has that criminal taken over your body?" It was a fair question, but Ery had no energy to argue, especially with the cunning Lucius Corvin. His priority was to depart swiftly and focus on containing Mo Yan's soul. If Mo Yan managed to break free, Ery would be dangerously vulnerable. Unlike the others, having Lucius present didn't offer him any sense of security, only the opposite.
Without addressing Lucius's questioning gaze, Ery turned to his Senior Heorgar, his voice barely above a whisper "I have to leave"
Not waiting for a response, Ery swiftly moved to claim Mo Yan's corpse as his prize, placing it inside his aperture. As for Shen Long's body, Ery believed it should be returned to Zodiac City, leaving any decisions to the deceased's closest kin.
Ery's actions only heightened Lucius's suspicion, but before the wolf patriarch could voice his concerns, Ery vanished. He reappeared near the remains of his broken tier 7 tal construct.
After retrieving the pieces, his gaze fell upon the King Roc beast lying nearby. Despite its battered state, the ancient creature still clung to life. Ery's decision was clear. "I am keeping this one" he declared, claiming the beast as his own.
Ery's contributions to the battle were undeniable, from his fight against Ramos to Mo Yan. He even spent over 20 million spirit stones to safeguard the formation. The acquisition of a living ancient beast like this King Roc served as just compensation for his efforts.
After securing the huge beast into his aperture, Ery had no energy left to think about splitting the other loot and was ready to leave.
Flying to the nearest Magus Alliance outpost at his best speed would take at least half a day. Even with constant use of spatial gates, would still take him a few hours. With no condition to face all the potential danger, he planned to use Khaos's waypoint to instantly teleport to safety.
When he began to cast a portal when Lucius approached him.
"You're not leaving without any explanation,"
Ery responded with an enraged gaze. "Fuck off....!!"
Such an answer shocked those present. Lucius, after all, was a senior figure to the entire half-blood community. Even Beatrice, who had a deep impression of Ery, started to frown, unable to accept his rude attitude.
Heorgar, recognizing the tension, intervened with a diplomatic plea, after apologizing for Ery's behavior he said "Patriarch, I believe this is the real him," he said politely. "I am willing to take responsibility if I am wrong."
Surprisingly, Lucius displayed no anger toward Ery's outburst. Instead, he seed entertained by the situation. "Yes... I believe you are right... His hatred for is real," he remarked with a wry smile.
Ery, undeterred by Lucius's amusent, focused on opening a portal to leave. However, before he could depart, Heorgar intercepted him and offered a storage ring as a token of gratitude. "I have prepared this for your reward," Heorgar explained gratefully. "Thank you for your help... I wouldn't have succeeded without you."
Aware of Heorgar's limited resources, Ery was prepared to decline the gift. However, upon touching the ring, he realized it contained sothing other than spirit stones.
Magus Heorgar smiled warmly "You will need this," he said earnestly. "If you have any questions, co find in Utopia outpost."
Ery accepted the ring, acknowledging Heorgar's gesture, and then stepped decisively into the portal. His destination: Khaos pestilence gates, where Chututlu's was—the Alvanic sacred mountain nestled within the hidden subterranean world.
As Ery erged from the portal, the echoing voice of Cthulhu greeted him the Khaos guardian voice reverberated ominously through the cold, dark cavern. This hidden world provided Ery with the safest refuge he could find. Here, the locals were powerless to harm him, and the secluded nature of the place offered him a sanctuary from the chaos of the outside world.
Ery wasted no ti in finding a suitable spot within the cavern. With practiced ease, he settled into a lotus position, focusing his mind as he entered his Magus Domain. From there, he swiftly navigated to the special prison where the enraged Mo Yan was kept.
"Comfortable enough?" Ery inquired, a faint smile playing on his lips.
"YOU!!! Just wait!! This place will not hold !! I will break free!!!" Mo Yan's voice echoed with rage, his defiance undiminished.
Ery took a deep sigh, realizing that in just a few minutes since his departure, Mo Yan's soul energy had already begun to recover. Knowing that the prison would soon prove inadequate to contain the powerfull grand magus's soul, Ery resolved to engage in another round of soul battle.
With a flick of his finger, Ery conjured a spirit realm into existence, with Mo Yan standing defiantly before him.
"HAHAHA! Too arrogant!!! I will devour you this ti!!" Mo Yan exclaid with nacing glee.
Unfortunately for Mo Yan, this ti Ery was not alone. A massive dark creature with multiple tentacles ford next to him, casting an ominous gaze. Mo Yan's rage swiftly turned to shock.
"What! What is that?! No! This is not a fair battle!" Mo Yan exclaid, his voice tinged with fear.
This was the main reason Ery had chosen this location to recover. Ery needed assistance to fully subdue Mo Yan's soul, and Chututlu, who had been on holiday for more than four months, was the perfect candidate for the job.
"I thought you liked to play around with beasts... You can play with him first," Ery remarked casually, gesturing towards Chututlu.
After reminding Chututlu not to eat the soul, Ery said, "I'll co to check on you after I get so sleep."
End of the Arc.

Author Note:
The purpose of this arc and the last 30 chapters was to showcase Ery's growth over the past four years while expanding the world with grand magus realm content.
Firstly was the Magus Domain: its aperture and the relation between a personal one-cosmos domain and the two-cosmos that could create a battlefield domain.
Secondly were details about high-grade spells and their importance in battle.
Third was content on formations that we haven't explored deeply before. I believe the formation path should be as important as the apothecary path, maybe even more.
Lastly was the soul battle and its relation to soul power.
I've read a comnt that the arc felt a little too long, but please be assured that with this shared information, the next future battles will be much briefer and, most importantly, enjoyable.
What do you think? Please share your thoughts in the comnts or discord channel, would love to read them.
