Ery would have liked nothing more than to beat up the two grand magus guards and pull the arrogant Nephilim female out of the pool, but he knew such an act could lead to more trouble with the Earth faction. Frustration simred within him, but he kept it in check.
Ashaka, sensing the rising tension, took a deep breath and advised, "Let's wait."
Unfortunately, another hour passed, and the Nephilim woman showed no sign of finishing anyti soon. Ery's patience was wearing thin, but he decided to hold his temper and called out to leave, avoid trouble, and reschedule for another day.
Just as they turned, a male figure approached them from behind. His presence was imdiately recognizable.
"Here you are, my young friend. You finally ca out of your hall," said the man, his voice casual yet commanding.
It was Ronan, the Serpent Supre. He glanced at the group curiously. "Why are you all standing here?"
Ery had been avoiding Ronan for the last few days, wary of the Serpent Supre's intentions. Now, seeing Ronan co to his aid, he wondered whether this situation would ultimately benefit or harm him. As these thoughts raced through his mind, the female grand magus's voice echoed from within the chamber.
"Urgh… so annoying, throw them all away."
The two grand magus guards imdiately followed her orders. One charged toward Ery's group, and the other lunged at Ronan. However, both were quickly shocked to see the young magus and his companions dodge and block their attacks with surprising ease.
Ronan, demonstrating his superior skill, countered with a powerful strike that disabled one of the grand magus guards, sending him crumpling to the ground. Ronan then turned his attention to the massive door. Gathering energy around his fingers, he unleashed a blast that shattered the door, revealing the spring and the half-naked female grand magus within. Her expression twisted with rage and disbelief as she scread,
"YOU DARE!!"
With a single fluid motion, the female grand magus covered her body as she jumped out of the pool, her eyes narrowing in fury. Though she was only a one cosmos grand magus, she swiftly drew a glimring golden bow, a formidable tier 8 weapon. As she pulled its string, her power surged, concentrating into a single, lethal arrow imbued with the essence of her domain.
However, just as she was about to release the arrow, Ronan vanished and reappeared behind her. His finger brushed her cheek gently from behind, a mocking smile on his lips.
"DAMN YOU!" she scread, attempting to release the arrow. However, it flew harmlessly into the air, missing its mark entirely. Panic flashed in her eyes as she looked around frantically for Ronan.
Suddenly, a sharp pain blossod in her cheek. She clutched at her face, her fingers coming away covered in vile, greenish mucus. Her scream echoed through the chamber, a mixture of pain and terror.
"POISON!! Arrghh!! My face!" She shrieked, her voice breaking as the noxious substance began to spread. Ishtar swiftly consud a pill, and the vile mucus on her face began to dissipate, but the damage to her pride had already been done.
The two grand magus guards quickly returned to her side, but their presence did little to quell her rage. "Trash!! Both of you are trash!!" Ishtar scread, her voice echoing through the chamber. Her rage was palpable, a tangible force that made the air feel thick and oppressive.
In her fury, Ishtar stord towards the door, her eyes locking onto Ronan, who stood calmly beside Ery. Her anger seed to reach a new peak as she spat, "It's you! EarthLink! a re slave under my rule... to think you dare to defy your gods!!"
Before Ery could respond, he noticed the subtle but undeniable changes in Ishtar's face. Wrinkles began to form, her once youthful appearance giving way to the ravages of ti. Ronan's mocking voice cut through the tension,
"Huh… I thought you were a rare beauty… apparently, you are just an old lady."
The words hit Ishtar like a physical blow, her face contorting with rage and madness. Her eyes, now wild with fury, focused entirely on Ronan. "I will kill you!!" she scread, her voice shrill and filled with murderous intent.
At that mont, two figures arrived to intervene: Grand Magus Aurora, the deputy headmaster, and another strikingly beautiful grand magus, Neytiri, the instructor of Hall 5.
"Sister Ishtar, why are you so angry?… oh, your face, what happened?!" Neytiri's concern was evident, but there was an unmistakable hint of mockery in her tone. Despite Ishtar's fury, the oracle had successfully restrained her, enforcing the academy's strict no-fighting policy.
The chaos was quickly quelled, and to Ery's surprise, both Aurora and Neytiri showed proper respect to Ronan. It was clear that the Supre Serpent had deep connections with the supre magus of the planet, a fact that did not go unnoticed by anyone present. Ishtar's face, still marred by the lingering effects of Ronan's poison, twisted with rage and humiliation.
Despite the intervention, Ishtar's anger found a new target. She redirected her fury towards Ery and his group, her eyes burning with vengeful intent. Her voice echoed ominously in his mind.
The threat lingered as she left the room.
Once she was gone, Ronan turned to Ery with a knowing smile. "You don't need to thank … consider this repaying part of your favor."

Finally, with Ishtar's departure, Ery, Klea, and Ashaka were able to enjoy the peace and quiet of the spirit-rich spring. The tranquil waters enveloped them, filling their bodies and souls with vigor. Ery felt the revitalizing energy flow through him, but his mind was troubled by the foreboding threat Ishtar had left behind.
With the aid of VIA, Ery delved into Ishtar's background. He quickly realized the extent of her influence within the Nephilim faction and her historical ties to Earth. The 12 hours in the Myriad Spring of Life proved imnsely beneficial for Ery. As he erged from the spring, he felt a notable increase in his comprehension of the laws and a balance in his energy:
