The clash was unavoidable. More than twenty magus and dozens of saint warriors entered the space prison created by the Void Warden. The shimring walls pulsed with energy, making escape impossible and ensuring that the battle would be fierce and contained.
Ery watched as Ronan utilized his serpent transformation to break free from the spatial restraint. Six serpent heads erged from his back, each one moving with lethal precision. They defended against the incoming attacks and launched counters, leaving a trail of bodies in their wake. Ronan's movents were fluid and deadly, each strike a testant to his imnse power and skill.
Realizing the necessity to act, Ery activates his Twilight transformation. Though he could only resist half of the spatial restraints, it gave him enough mobility to engage. The spatial prison was terrifying indeed, Ery found most of his spells were affected and swiftly pulled out his savage blade and plunged into the fray.
The situation was dire. The Void Warden's control over the space not only restrained Ery's strength but also gave the Nephilim magus a significant advantage. Rhyze's manipulation of space allowed him to aid his allies, helping them dodge strikes or pulling them closer for sudden, coordinated attacks. The battlefield was a constantly shifting maze, with the Void Warden's spatial walls appearing and disappearing at will.
Ery fought fiercely, his blade slicing through the air as he engaged multiple opponents. The Nephilim magus were relentless, their attacks coming from all sides. Ery parried and countered, his movents a blur of speed and precision.
During the chaos, Ery noticed Ishtar pull out her golden bow, the tier 7 weapon dazzling with glittering lights as she drew the string. Her eyes glead with confidence, and a smirk played on her lips as she casually released the arrow into the air. In a split second, the arrow suddenly disappears and reappears flying just a few ters from Ronan.
"Die you filthy halfblood!!"
It was a spatial trick, a calculated move that forced Ronan to use a skillful technique to dodge. He twisted his body with incredible agility, but even so, he barely succeeded. The arrow grazed him, and four of his serpent heads were crushed by the arrow's impact trying to save him. Blood splattered, and the serpents' agonized hisses filled the air as they writhed in pain.
Ronan gritted his teeth as he spent a great deal of energy regenerating the four serpents. The frustration was evident. "That is one cheap shot!" he cursed, his voice tinged with anger. Turning to Ery, he added, "I can't take too many of that kind of attack! You are the spatial expert!…do sothing!"
Ery saw the Void Warden send Ishtar a second arrow, this ti aiming it at the dinsion where Lilith was battling. The Dark Salamander, struggling against the spirit master's relentless spirit attacks, couldn't dodge in ti. The arrow blasted into her back, creating a deep, searing wound.
Lilith's roar of pain echoed through the chamber, her rage igniting her aura even further. The intense pain snapped her out of the spirit attack's grip. Her eyes blazed with fury as she charged at the spirit master, her claws glowing with molten fire. However, as she reached her target, her claws slashed through empty air. The figure dissipated like smoke, revealing itself to be an illusion.
Frustration mounting, Lilith looked around and saw multiple illusionary figures of the old spirit master appear inside her spatial dinsion. Each one moved in perfect synchronization, a high-level ntal attack designed to synergize with the Void Warden's dinsional prison. The illusions distorted her senses and confused her perception, effectively immobilizing the dragon's half-blood.
Seeing Lilith's predicant, Ery needs to quickly take action. However, he knew that breaking out of the spatial prison required a deep analysis of the spatial dinsion.
"I need a few minutes! Can you hold them all back?" he shouted to Ronan.
"Of course!" Ronan replied confidently. Two of the six serpents on his back slithered out of his body, rapidly growing into massive, giant serpents. Their scales shimred with a dark, tallic sheen as they roared and rampaged toward the incoming Nephilim guards.
Not wasting any ti, Ery placed his hands on the spatial wall. Killgragah's dark flas engulfed his body as he channeled the Khaos power within him. The flas flickered ominously, casting eerie shadows across the chamber. Ery's eyes glowed with a dark intensity, his mind raced as he delved into the intricate web of spatial laws that ford the prison. Understanding the law of space, Ery held the key to exploring and breaking through the spatial dinsions. It was akin to finding a way out of hundreds of labyrinths, each one more complex than the last. The intricate patterns of the spatial prison twisted and shifted, a testant to the Void Warden's mastery. Despite the assistance from Khaos's power and his divine sense, the tier 8 spell, bolstered by cosmic power, was exceptionally difficult to crack.
Ery focused intently, his mind racing through the possibilities. When he finally sensed an opening, Ery acted decisively. He took out his newly acquired tier 7 staff, the [Eldritch Staff]. Although he had not yet fully commanded the spirit within, with Klea's help, he was able to harness its power.
The staff transford in his hands, shifting into a tier 7 sharp wooden blade. The blade glead with an otherworldly light, pulsating with raw energy. Ery raised it high, channeling his strength and focus, and then brought it down in a swift, decisive cut.
CRACKK!!!
The wall split apart, a rift appearing in the seamless spatial barrier. Ery's heart leaped with triumph, but his victory was short-lived. As soon as he broke through, another wall materialized, reinforcing the crack. The walls seed to regenerate, sealing the breach almost as quickly as it had been created. Ery's frustration mounted, but he didn't waver. A few minutes passed without progress until Ery decided to halt his exploration and use an alternate solution. Recognizing the need for a different approach, he shifted his focus and channeled his law of gravity into the fray. Ery quickly identified the weakest part of the prison—the ground below.
Gathering his entire accumulated power, Ery concentrated it into his fist. His muscles tensed, and veins bulged as he prepared for the strike. The energy radiated from his body, dark flas flickering and swirling around him. With a mighty roar, he threw an explosive punch to the floor.
"BREAK!!!"
BAAAAAMMMM!!!!
The impact was colossal. The whole castle shook violently, the ground beneath them shattering and crumbling. The force of Ery's punch sent shockwaves through the structure, causing walls to crack and debris to fall from above. The Void Warden's spell flickered, the spatial distortions wavering under the sheer force of the blow.
Seeing the opening, Ronan seized the mont. He unleashed a powerful soul attack on the old spirit master, his eyes glowing with fierce intensity. Simultaneously, Ronan sent a telepathic ssage to Lilith, "Take care of that Nephilim bitch!"
Lilith, a veteran fighter and savage by nature, instantly recognized the opportunity. She flew through the spatial crack and charged toward Ishtar with fierce determination. The female Nephilim swiftly released another arrow, aiming directly at Lilith. The arrow grazed Lilith's arm, but she pressed on, her eyes locked on her target.
The Dark Slamander's flaming dragon claws aid fiercely at Ishtar's neck, but Ishtar was prepared. A hidden artifact, her golden necklace, activated just in ti. It was a high-grade tier 7 life-saving artifact, enveloping her entire body in a defensive energy shield. The more powerful the attack, the stronger the counter.
"Dammit!!" Lilith cursed, her frustration boiling over as her hands throbbed with pain from the backlash. The defensive energy had deflected her attack, leaving her montarily stunned.
Ronan, equally annoyed, quickly shifted his focus to the Void Warden. The grand magus needed to be stopped before he could recast his infuriating spell. Unfortunatly, it appeared he was already too late. The Void Warden's form shimred, the runes on his body glowing intensely and the spatial distortions began to reappear.
However, just as the Void Warden was about to complete his spell, a figure erged from behind him. Wooden blades shot forth, piercing through his chest from the back.
"Stop what you are doing right now... or else!!"
It was Ery, having set his sights on Rhyze from the very beginning. With swift precision and decisive action, he had struck when it mattered most.
"ARGHH!! You bastard!!!" the Void Warden roared in agony, his face contorting with rage and disbelief as he struggled to break free, his hands clawing at the wooden blades embedded in his chest. But Ery was ready; he had no intention of allowing the battle to prolong. Drawing upon his deepest reserves of power, he unleashed his [Immortal Gate Stage 9].
A surge of energy erupted around him and with his battle power magnified, he ruthlessly swung the wooden blade upward, cleaving through Rhyze's body with a single, decisive stroke.
SPLAAATT!!!
The blade sliced through Rhyze's body with brutal efficiency, cutting the grand magus in half. Blood sprayed from the gaping wound, staining Ery's clothes and the surrounding area.
Seeing Ery covered in blood, Ronan couldn't contain himself. He turned to Ery, a wide grin spreading across his face. "Now that is my good son-in-law!"
With adrenaline still surging through him, Ery quickly turned his attention to the next task. He focused on capturing Rhyze's spirit soul. With a concentrated spirit attack, he ensnared the remnants of the Void Warden's essence. The grand magus spirit soul, writhing in agony, securely trapped.
As the strongest grand magus was defeated and the old spirit master lay completely restrained by Ronan, the tide of battle shifted decisively. Ishtar, surveying the chaos around her, saw the bodies of her fallen allies and the overwhelming might of her opponents. Realizing her position was untenable and that she was thoroughly outmatched, she ca to a fateful decision.
"I surrender," she declared, her voice steady and resolute. Despite the gravity of the situation, her expression remained unyielding, revealing no trace of fear.
With the Nephilim noble at his rcy, Ery faced a critical decision regarding Ishtar's fate.
