The sheer force behind Adam's strike was staggering, far surpassing what one would expect from a typical grand magus of the one-cosmos realm.
As the academy staff scrambled to restore the shattered barrier, Ery took a few cautious steps back, his mind racing through the data VIA had collected during the battle. However, the readings were inconsistent, fluctuating due to Adam's natural resistance to certain forms of analysis.
The numbers that did co through, though, were unsettling.
[Adam]
[Grand Magus Realm, One Cosmos]
[Law of Light: 42 (50 %]
[Law of Divinity: 21 (40 )%]
[Law of Sword: 18%]
[Soul Force: 1220 (1500 )]
[Battle Power: 1091 (1300 )]
Adam's battle power was among the highest Ery had ever encountered from anyone within the one-cosmos realm. What truly set him apart was the staggering level of his soul force—an exceptional rarity even for grand magus of this level. That alone would have been impressive, but when combined with his apparent youth, it beca even more remarkable.
VIA had dug deeper into Adam's history and found that the young Apostle was only in his 50s. For soone to reach the grand magus realm and wield such imnse power at such a young age was beyond extraordinary. After all, most grand magus followed the traditional path of advancent, which required them to face and survive multiple calamities and cosmic tribulations that ca every few decades.
This revelation painted a clearer picture of just how dangerous Adam was. His mastery of the Sword, combined with his sheer soul power turned every strike from his blade into a devastating one. As Ery analyzed the data, the Nephilim apostle wasted no ti and charged forward, determined to close the distance and ensure Ery wouldn't be able to evade his next strike. His wings flared with divine energy, propelling him with incredible speed as he honed in on his target. Within seconds, the gap between them vanished, and Adam unleashed his second [Holy Strike].
This attack was even more precise, faster, and more powerful than the last. Ery, unable to dodge in ti, felt the imnse pressure of the strike closing in on him.
Just as Adam's holy blade was about to land its devastating blow, Ery reacted in the blink of an eye. He funneled all his strength into his left arm, activating the [Elysian Vembrace]. The artifact summoned the power of the Elysian tree, instantly transforming his arm into a shimring shield. Though the Vembrace absorbed much of the blow, the sheer power still threw Ery back, sending him flying a few dozen ters across the arena.
As he skidded to a stop, Ery muttered under his breath, "That was a close one..."
Adam flew at him once more, the Nephilim Apostle's sword glead with divine energy, and Ery could feel the sheer intensity of the impending strike, forcing him to push his limits. Activating [Spatial Bending] to its fullest, Ery barely managed to twist space around him, but this ti he wasn't fast enough.
The aftershock of the strike hit him like a sledgehamr, his body collided hard against the ground, skidding across the broken stone and leaving a trail of destruction in his wake. Pain shot through his ribs, and he coughed up blood as he pushed himself back to his feet, every muscle aching from the impact.
But this was not the ti to dwell on pain.
The gravity of the situation had beco clear. Adam was not an opponent to be trifled with, and Ery realized that holding back would only put him at greater risk. Ery resolved to unleash his full strength. He could no longer afford to keep his power hidden. Closing his eyes, he channeled the Khaos energy that had always been his key to unlocking the beast within him. It roared in response, hungry and fierce.
His body surged with raw power as the [Primal Transformation] took hold. His muscles bulged and twisted, his form growing larger, more feral. His skin darkened, and his features beca sharp and beast-like, a predator born from Khaos. [You have reached 25% integration.]
Ery's battle power soared to over 1500, and it should be more than enough to shift the balance of the fight. His eyes locked onto Adam, who appeared slightly taken aback by the monstrous power radiating from Ery.
Without wasting a mont, Ery launched himself forward with explosive speed. Before Adam could even finish his full swing, Ery was already upon him. He slamd into the Apostle, tackling him with brutal force. BAMMM!!!
Dust and debris erupted from the point of impact, and for the first ti in the fight, it was Adam who found himself reeling.
The audience gasped, their eyes wide with astonishnt. This was the first ti many of them had witnessed Ery's [Primal Transformation], and it wasn't just the raw power that shook them—it was the unsettling, beastly aura surrounding him. Ery was fully consud by his primal power and gave in to his savage instincts. With his enhanced speed and strength, he lunged at Adam who was lying on the ground, ready to finish him off. But Adam was quick to react. He cast a defensive spell that unleashed a radiant shockwave, blasting Ery back into the air.
It was able to keep Ery away, but Adam was startled to see that it didn't hurt Ery at all. Panting heavily, Adam staggered to his feet, his once pristine armor now cracked and dented from the impact. Despite his fatigue, his eyes glead with fierce determination.
"That is not a re beast transformation… it's pure chaos… pure evil," Adam said, his voice steady despite the growing tension in the arena.
With a deliberate movent, Adam reached into his robes and pulled out a set of small golden bells, attaching them to his sword. As he lifted the blade high, the bells emitted a soft, lodic chi. The sound was faint at first, almost soothing, but it quickly grew louder, filling the air with an unsettling resonance. The eerie, rhythmic ringing echoed across the arena, its vibrations crawling into every corner.
Adam closed his eyes, his lips moving in a quiet chant. The words were ancient, almost sacred, and with each syllable, the bells rang louder, the sound growing heavier, more oppressive. It wasn't just a sound anymore—it was a force, a pressure that seed to reach deep into the fabric of reality itself.
Ery's primal instincts flared as the sound infiltrated his mind. At first, it was subtle, like a distant whisper, but within monts, the sound began to echo more intensely, drowning out everything else. "What is this? A soul attack?!"
Ery's confidence in his ntal defenses was well-founded. His mastery of the [Emperor Focus] technique had strengthened his soul to a formidable level. However, as the rhythmic chiming of Adam's bells continued, he realized sothing was wrong. A cold, sinking feeling crept into his chest as he sensed a shift in his core. The Khaos energy within him began to waver. It started to leak out, slowly dissipating from his body. "What kind of technique is this?!" Ery growled, his voice laced with frustration. At that mont; Chututlu's words enter his mind, growling.
