The crowd roared with uncontainable excitent.

It was a spectacular sight—after all, it’s rare to watch a grand magus-level battle. The air rippled with energy, and the battlefield crackled as two overwhelming forces clashed with power far beyond that of ordinary grand magus. Explosions of light and waves of temporal distortion flared in all directions, drawing awestruck gasps from even the most seasoned spectators.

Julian gave it everything he had.

His four golden wings flared bright like twin suns. With every beat, he launched into a blitz of holy slashes, his blade a cot trailing sacred fla. He poured every ounce of his strength into each strike, every ounce of faith burning through his veins.

And still—Kronos parried.

Massive scythes danced in his hands, their curved edges trailing temporal afterimages. He t Julian’s assault head-on, parrying each strike. Sparks flew from every collision, and ti seed to slow with each parry—then snap forward with each counter. The two titans danced through the sky, exchanging blow after blow.

The protective array encasing the arena trembled under the force of their clashing powers. Magical glyphs flickered, struggling to contain the shockwaves.

To the average spectator, the battle seed evenly matched. Cuts began to form on both their bodies, crimson trails staining armor—proof that neither combatant was erging unscathed.

But those who truly understood-those sitting in the highest tiers of the arena—could see the deeper truth.

Julian was struggling.

On the VIP platform, the Grand Overseer nodded solemnly. "This Julian... he’s truly remarkable. To hold the Guardian’s Blessing this long... but alas, he is only a full moon. He can’t last much longer."

Jinkan, seated beside him, nodded quietly.

Back on the battlefield, Julian’s breath ca heavier with each motion. His strikes remained sharp, but there was a subtle change—just a fraction slower, a touch less forceful. The divine glow surrounding him began to lose its intense light.

Kronos saw it too.

The Nephilim warrior’s gaze sharpened. He tilted his head slightly as a cold smile spread across his face.

"You’ve reached your limit, haven’t you?" he said calmly. "Let’s finish this."

Then, with a subtle twist of his scythe, Kronos began to spin it rapidly. The blade cut through space and ti itself, releasing a powerful temporal pulse.

This was the full activation of Kronos’ ultimate ability—[Ti Wrap].

The weight of ti crushed his limbs. His reactions slowed, his breathing staggered. The sacred flas around him flickered in resistance, but even his guardian form began to strain.

Kronos advanced with lethal precision.

The first strike ca screaming toward Julian. He barely managed to raise his shield, but the force of the blow shattered it on impact, sending him reeling. Before he could recover, the second strike landed—an arcing blow to the chest.

BAMMM!!

The arena held its breath as Julian was hurled across the battlefield like a broken doll. He crashed into the ground, the impact cracking the stone beneath him. Blood sprayed from his mouth as he hit, his divine glow flickering.

The crowd erupted in deafening cheers—Kronos’ dominance was clear.

They sensed the end.

But Julian rose again.

Dust clung to his bloodied form. His wings flickered dimly, and his body trembled under the strain. Yet his eyes burned brighter than ever, fierce with unyielding will.

"I... am not done yet," he growled, wiping the blood from his lips.

His wings spread. With a roar, he launched into the air one more ti, clashing again and again with Kronos.

But it was clear now—Julian was fading.

After only a few more exchanges, he was struck down once more, his body crashing violently into the arena floor. The sacred fire surrounding him sputtered. His aura dimd.

Kronos hovered above him, voice low and cold.

"I know what you’re doing. You’re trying to wear down... for whoever’s next. But it’s pointless."

After saying such words, Kronos raised his hand, casting another spell. A soft ticking sound echoed through the arena, and an ethereal clock-shaped aura ford behind him.

[Chrono Reversion].

A wave of temporal magic rippled outward as the wounds on Kronos’s body began to vanish. Cracks in his armor sealed seamlessly. His breathing steadied. His eyes burned with renewed brilliance.

It was a terrifying high-grade spell—not rely a healing spell, but a reversal of ti itself. His body was returned to its peak condition. His spirit reserves fully replenished. His cosmic aura surged to its maximum once more.

It was as if every wound Julian had inflicted... had never happened at all.

The Earth faction stared in stunned silence.

Julian’s face faltered. His breath grew shallow.

In comparison, the golden flas surrounding him began to flicker. His wings dimd, and the aura of the Guardian’s Blessing began to falter like a dying star.

Kronos hovered lower with smug detachnt. "Out of respect for the Nephilim’s.. I offer you rcy. Surrender now, and I won’t break you."

Julian didn’t respond imdiately.

Instead, his eyes drifted slowly to the Earth faction’s corner. There, Klea stood, hands clenched tight, her face pale with concern. Beside her, Thrax was already out of his recovery pod. He had clearly exited healing far too soon, still reeling from his wound.

Neither said a word.

They couldn’t.

They couldn’t ask him to keep going. They couldn’t ask him to stop.

Julian let out a short laugh—dry and hoarse, but real. "You two... looking at like that... I really can’t quit now, can I?"

He rose again. His gaze turned back to Kronos,

"Good.. all of you see.. That I am Julian... I am the hero of this story!"

With a shout that shook the heavens, the Guardian of Faith ignited once more.

His wings burst into radiant fire, flaring with a brilliance unseen before. Two massive arcs of celestial fla soared behind him, as if the heavens themselves were answering his call. His battered body shone anew, not from recovery, but from sheer will.

This was it.

His final stand.

Across the sky, Kronos smiled, "Good... All witness that I gave you a chance... and death is your choice."

His weapons spun in his hands, shimring with pure chronomantic energy. Ti warped around him, warping sound and light, ready to crush the last flicker of resistance.

At the VIP platform, the Grand Overseer released a long breath, disappointnt etched across his aged features. "Tch. I didn’t think he’d be such a brute after all."

But beside him, Jinkan’s lips curled slightly.
