The two-against-one battle raged on with growing ferocity. Both Julian and Poseidon moved in perfect rhythm — surprisingly their coordination almost seamless. Julian held the front, his sword and shield weaving a steady defense, while Poseidon struck from behind with his trident, each thrust carrying the might of surging tides.

Julian’s divine precision complented Poseidon’s raw elental force, and together, their strikes converged like two storms eting at sea. Both stood within the one Cosmos Realm — Julian at its early stage, Poseidon at the middle — but each of them was stronger and more refined than his grand magus subordinate, Brollak.

Under their combined onslaught, Ery’s newly refined sword and freshly learned technique began to falter. Every clash sent ripples through the air, every collision chipped away at the delicate balance of his form. The rhythm of their attacks was relentless, forcing Ery steadily on the defensive.

Julian caught a montary opening, his blade flashing in the light. A confident grin spread across his face as he t Ery’s gaze.

"Co on, Ery! Don’t hold back! Show us your true strength!"

Ery exhaled softly, the calm before a decision. He had entered this fight with a purpose — not to win, but to learn. His goal was to temper his sword technique, to refine its rhythm and essence through live combat. Even now, he knew that if he truly unleashed the full might of his two cosmos, he could easily overpower both Julian and Poseidon. But that was not his intention. Revealing everything before these unknown figures would be reckless.

He decided otherwise.

With a flick of his wrist, the [Frostveil] sword shimred, its edge fading into frost mist before vanishing entirely. His hand then moved summoning sothing else — sothing radiant.

Four slender tallic rings appeared before him, each about half a ter in diater. They floated effortlessly in the air, orbiting one another as faint rays of prismatic light pulsed from their cores. The colors shifted and rippled like liquid rainbows — serene yet dangerous.

The [Chromacircle Rings].

The rings began to spin faster, their hum rising to a resonant vibration that filled the battlefield. Each rotation left behind arcs of color, forming a luminous sphere of motion around him. The sight was srizing — elegant and chanical, yet filled with raw power.

Then ca the strike.

Poseidon lunged first, his trident surging with oceanic force, a tidal wave condensed into a single thrust. The first ring spun outward with a thunderous clang, deflecting the blow in a burst of white-blue sparks. Julian imdiately followed, his sword slashing through the mist like a golden flare — but the second ring intercepted, twisting midair and forcing his blade off course.

The impact sent a pulse rippling outward.

BOOM!

Both Julian and Poseidon were driven back a few steps as the rings expanded in orbit, whirling in perfect synchrony. Then, with a thought, Ery sent them forward again — a counterattack of spiraling color and sound. The four rings spun like celestial blades, carving streaks of light as they darted toward their opponents.

Athar, who had been quietly observing from the edge of the arena, couldn’t help but shout in surprise.

"Good Spirit Weapons!"

Unlike Frostveil, these rings flow naturally under Ery’s control. His Heaven and Earth Dao enhanced their harmony, and his divine sense gave him flawless precision. Within weeks, he had already mastered the first layer of the artifact technique.

The rings spun in synchronization, each responding to his will like extensions of his own limbs. They whirled outward in a burst of force, sweeping across the chamber with a storm of prismatic energy.

Both Julian and Poseidon were quickly forced onto the defensive as Ery’s four prismatic rings whirled around him like divine satellites. Poseidon’s sharp instincts kicked in first—he slamd his trident into the ground, and in an instant, the entire area around him surged with the roar of the ocean. A vast water domain unfolded, layers upon layers of liquid energy forming shimring barriers that resisted the pressure of the Chromacircle Rings.

Julian, on the other hand, chose a different approach. His eyes flared gold as his aura surged to divine brilliance. With a single breath, he invoked the Nephilim sacred technique—[Angelic Descent]. Six radiant wings burst from his back, each feather etched with divine runes, spreading wide in a dazzling display of light. The transformation was awe-inspiring; his presence felt almost celestial as his speed and strength multiplied instantly.

Ery couldn’t help but marvel at the sheer power of the Nephilim’s sacred technique when fueled by grand magus cosmic energy.

The duel reached a deadlock—Poseidon’s waves clashing with Ery’s chromatic rings, Julian’s golden aura slicing through mist and steam, neither side gaining ground.

Then, Julian turned his head toward the edge of the field and shouted, "Athar! Why are you standing there? Co and join us!"

From the sidelines, the dark-skinned grand magus grinned.

He stepped forward, his aura bursting outward like molten ash. With a flick of his wrists, two golden chakrams appeared in his hands, each spinning and trailing faint embers of orange-brown fla. The fire wasn’t normal—it shimred like molten sand, gritty and radiant, alive with both heat and weight.

"This is my weapon," he said proudly, raising both hands. "The Terrafire Chakrams."

As soon as the words left his lips, Athar hurled both chakrams into the air, rotating with trendous force. The air vibrated from the sheer torque of their spin as they collided with Ery’s Chromacircle Rings mid-flight.

CLANG! CLANG!

"Good work, Athar!" Julian shouted, eyes gleaming.

With remarkable coordination, Poseidon expanded his water domain, and the air thickened with pressure. The area rippled as shimring waves spread outward, forming a dense barrier of liquid force that coiled around Ery’s chromatic rings. Each pulse of Poseidon’s power tightened the watery grip, weighing the artifacts down with crushing strength.

At the sa mont, Julian’s six luminous wings flared open, sparks of divine light trailed behind his sword and shield as he lunged forward with blistering speed. From above, Athar moved almost silently—his twin chakrams whirling as they curved through the air, cutting toward Ery’s flanks from both sides.

Ery’s eyes flickered with faint admiration. Their coordination was flawless—each attack flowing naturally into the next, without hesitation or wasted motion. They’ve trained many tis together, he realized.

But despite the fierce assault, Ery remained calm. His divine sense expanded outward. Then, with a quiet breath, he twisted space itself and in a single step, his figure vanished—reappearing ten ters away in the blink of an eye.

"Spatial law!!" Athar shouted in disbelief, his chakrams missing their mark and spiraling off course.

Julian, however, did not falter. "You’re not going anywhere!" he declared.

He had predicted it. The mont Ery reappeared, Julian hurled his shield with divine precision. It spun through the air like a golden vortex, radiating power. When it struck, it didn’t wound—it disrupted. The collision sent a spatial tremor through Ery’s bend, distorting the coordinates he’d shifted to. The space around him rippled violently, throwing him slightly off balance and halting his escape.

"Now!!" Julian roared.

In perfect sync, all three grand magus unleashed their attacks. Poseidon’s trident surged forward, trailing torrents of crushing seawater. Athar’s blazing chakrams arced inward like twin cots, while Julian dove from above, wings blazing with holy light. Three devastating forces converge closing in from every side.

For an instant, the air was electric with destruction. But Ery rely exhaled. "Very good" he said softly, "but not enough."

Both his hands touched the ground.

The arena floor trembled.

From the cracks, verdant vines burst forth—thick, pulsating with life. Their erald glow was threaded with silver runes, pulsing rhythmically like a heartbeat. But the aura they exuded was far from pure; a mingling of light and shadow coiled together in unnatural harmony. It was the evolved form of his Tier 7 Elysian Roots—a new tier 8 spell born from the balance of his Heaven and Earth Dao. He nad it [Twilight Vine].

The vines swirled around him like living chains, responding to his will. Then, with a single command, they lashed outward.

The ground exploded under the pressure as the roots struck. With a thunderous crash, they clashed against Julian’s sword, Athar’s chakrams, and Poseidon’s trident all at once.

BAMM! BAMM!! BAMM!!

The impact shattered the chamber floor. Golden light fractured. Water turned to mist. Flas were extinguished. The three barely had ti to react before the vines coiled tighter—ensnaring them midair.

Poseidon’s trident was yanked from his grasp. Julian’s wings flickered, trapped under the twisting chains of green and black. Athar tried to summon a defensive rune, but the vines constricted around his arms, pinning him completely. The air grew heavy with oppressive energy—the kind that pressed down on the soul itself.

Even without calling upon the power of his two cosmos, Ery’s nature spell was able to dominate and subdue them all.

Julian, breathing heavily, raised both hands in surrender. "Alright, alright—you win..." he said with a crooked smile. "Let’s have a talk."
