Now reading: Chapter 2908 Hunt from Earth's Greatest Magus, a Adventure novel by Avan.

Three years later.

[Planet 59032]

[Class M Planet - Savage Level 6]

This was one of the many unexplored savage planets scattered within Sector 13 of the Alpha Region. While it ranked below the Desolate Alpha Planet-which was claid and regulated by the Magus Alliance as a hunting ground-it was by no ans less dangerous. The beasts here were fewer in number, but just as unpredictable, and the environnt itself posed an ever-present threat.

The large part of the planet was shrouded in layers of toxic clouds.

Poisonous mists drifted endlessly across its surface, seeping into valleys, clinging to forests, and pooling in lowlands like stagnant death. Even seasoned magus avoided prolonged exposure, as the toxins could slowly erode both body and spirit.

Because of that-

Few chose to co here.

At that mont, a streak of green light cut across the sky, moving at trendous speed as it wove through the dense layers of poisonous fog. The figure within adjusted its trajectory effortlessly, avoiding pockets of concentrated toxins before sharply descending toward a secluded valley hidden between jagged mountain ridges.

With a flash, the streak vanished.

A figure appeared atop a massive gray boulder-

A man in dark green robes.

Ery.

He stood silently for a mont, his senses expanding outward. The strange spatial distortions of the planet interfered with most forms of perception, blurring and scattering spiritual awareness. However, Ery's divine sense pierced through the interference, slowly scanning the surroundings with precision.

Then-

He found it.

His gaze settled on what appeared to be an ordinary, withered tree standing near a murky swamp.

Silent.

"Hehe... your concealnt thod is amazing, but... unfortunately, it can't hide from ."

With a flick of his sleeve, three thin jade swords shot forward like streaks of light, cutting through the air with sharp precision. They struck not the tree itself, but the shadow behind it-

A dull impact followed.

Then-

A deep, guttural croak echoed across the valley.

The air rippled.

Space distorted.

And from what had once been empty space, a massive figure erged.

A colossal frog-like beast, easily over thirty ters in size, revealed itself as its concealnt shattered. Its skin was a sickly blend of dark green and black, glistening with thick layers of toxic sli that dripped continuously onto the ground below, corroding everything it touched. Its bulging eyes glowed faintly with a venomous yellow hue, enraged as Ery's attack seed to have awakened it.

The surrounding swamp seed to react to its presence, bubbles rising and bursting as toxic vapors intensified.

VIA's voice sounded in his mind.

[Bog Tyrant Toad]

[Godly Beast - Level 6]

A creature comparable in power to a Second Cosmos Grand Magus.

The strongest type of beast one could encounter on this planet.

Yet-

Ery smiled.

A

After hours of searching, he had finally found it.

The beast croaked again, this ti with fury, its massive body expanding as it unleashed its attack. A thick cloud of green mist burst outward, spreading

rapidly across the battlefield.

[Corrosive Venom Domain]

The mist hissed as it spread, devouring the air itself, turning the surroundings

into a deadly zone.

Monts later, the beast opened its maw and unleashed a stream of

concentrated toxin.

[Venom Burst]

A pressurized wave of liquid poison shot forward, tearing through the ground as it advanced toward Ery.

As expected, even with Ery's high resistance to poison, the thick miasma released by the Bog Tyrant Toad began to seep into his body, creeping through his veins like a slow corrosion that disrupted the flow of his spirit energy and stirred faint instability within his ridians. It was not enough to truly harm him, but it was sufficient to interfere with his control, forcing him to act.

Ery exhaled lightly and spoke a single word.

"Chututlu,"

Swiftly subtle surge of Khaos energy spread outward from his body, rippling through the air like an unseen tide. The poisonous mist surrounding him began to react imdiately, twisting and folding inward as though drawn by an

invisible force.

Then it collapsed.

Layer by layer, the toxic fog was devoured, absorbed into the chaotic energy that surrounded Ery, leaving the air rapidly clearing around him.

< That is a tasty one >

Chututlu's voice echoed faintly within his mind, filled with unmistakable satisfaction as it consud the poison without restraint.

With the miasma gone, The Bog Tyrant Toad swiftly released a piercing, guttural shriek, a sound so deep and resonant that it seed to vibrate through

the very ground beneath them.

The swamp responded.

The murky waters quivered, then surged, as if the entire ecosystem had been stirred awake by that single call. Waves of ripples spread outward in all directions, disturbing the thick layers of sludge and toxic pools that had long

remained still.

This was not rely a cry of anger.

It was a command.

As the apex predator of this domain, the Bog Tyrant Toad ruled the swamp not just through strength, but through dominance. Its presence alone was enough to suppress lesser creatures, and with that call, it summoned them-not as

allies, but as subjects answering their king.

From the depths, shapes began to rise.

One after another.

Dozens-

Then hundreds.

Frogs with bloated, venom-filled bodies leapt from the sludge, their skins

glistening with toxic secretion. Scaled lizards with jagged spines crawled over one another, hissing as their forked tongues flickered through the air. Serpents coiled and uncoiled through the mud, their movents silent yet deadly, while other grotesque unrecognizable swamp-born creatures erged.

Each carried the aura of a desolate-level beast.

Alone, they were insignificant.

But together-

They ford a living tide.

A swarm drawn by instinct, compelled by the will of their sovereign, converging

toward Ery with unrelenting hostility.

Ery observed them calmly, his expression showing neither concern nor

urgency, only a faint trace of disappointnt.

"Hmphh... Do you really have to call all your family here...?"

He shook his head slightly.

"You really shouldn't."

With a single motion of his sleeve, multiple thin jade swords appeared, their

edges gleaming faintly as they began to circle around him in smooth, controlled arcs. More blades joined them until all sixty-four swords ford a complete formation, revolving around his body like leaves caught in an unseen current.

This was his newly mastered

[Eightfold Willow Swords].

At his command, the formation ca alive.

The blades did not rush forward violently, nor did they clash with brute force.

Instead, they flowed outward in elegant patterns, spreading across the battlefield like drifting willow leaves carried by a forest wind. Yet beneath that grace lay absolute precision, as each sword moved in perfect coordination with

the others.

When the swarm charged, the formation responded instantly.

So of the swords expanded outward, forming layered defensive screens that intercepted incoming attacks-streams of venom, bursts of corrosive energy, and lunging strikes were all cut apart or deflected before they could reach him. At the sa ti, the remaining swords surged forward, weaving through the

swarm with fluid, continuous motion.

They did not simply strike.

They passed through.

And everything they touched was cut apart.

Beasts that rushed forward were torn to pieces in an instant, while others were caught mid-attack, their movents interrupted and ended before completion. The battlefield quickly turned into a chaotic storm of motion, yet at its center,

Ery remained completely still.

The sixty-four blades separated into eight distinct groups, each consisting of eight swords. Four groups ford rotating defensive layers around him, maintaining a constant barrier against all incoming threats, while the other four transford into flowing offensive currents that swept outward like a living forest breeze.

They moved with rhythm.

With intent.

Like branches swaying, yet cutting with lethal precision.

Dozens of creatures fell within monts, their numbers thinning rapidly under

the relentless assault.

Yet despite the overwhelming destruction-

The Bog Tyrant Toad remained.

The massive beast let out a furious croak, its bloated throat swelling as it

lunged forward with terrifying force, its enormous body crashing toward Ery like a collapsing mountain.

Ery's figure blurred as spatial energy twisted around him, allowing him to evade the impact effortlessly and reappear at a distance, untouched.

His gaze remained fixed on the beast.

The swords shifted.

Refocused.

They struck the godly creature directly, blades carving across its massive form

in rapid succession. However, despite their precision, the results were limited. The creature's thick, sli-coated hide absorbed much of the impact, preventing the swords from penetrating deeply enough to deal decisive

damage. Ery did not rush.

Instead, he observed. asured.

Then gradually increased the pressure.

The sword formations accelerated, their movents becoming sharper and

more concentrated as waves of attacks overlapped, striking the sa areas repeatedly. Over ti, the persistent assault began to wear down the beast's defenses, opening deeper wounds as the blades carved through flesh and tore

into its massive body.

The Bog Tyrant Toad roared in pain, its movents becoming more erratic as it lashed out in desperation.

Seeing the mont he needed, Ery raised his hand slightly.

The sixty-four swords shot upward in unison, gathering high above the

battlefield as they began to spin, forming a massive rotating formation that

churned the air itself.

Then-

He brought his hand down.

[Willow Rain Form]

The swords descended in a single, overwhelming wave.

Like a storm breaking.

Dozens of blades rained down with imnse force, piercing through the godly

beast from above, their montum driving deep into its body and

overwhelming its remaining defenses in an instant.

The massive creature convulsed, its roar cutting short as its strength failed.

Then-

It collapsed.

The swamp fell silent.

The remaining creatures hesitated only briefly before retreating, disappearing

back into the depths from which they had co, leaving the battlefield empty

once more.

And at its center- Ery stood alone.
