Compared to its massive body, the exit of the passage was far too narrow.

Yet the Fallingstar Beast did not slow down in the slightest, charging straight through.

Its enormous twin jaws—shaped like bull horns and still hung with the mangled remains of rotspawn, smashed directly into the rock wall, shattering the stone blocking the passage.

The Fallingstar Beast burst out of the tunnel, crushing the rotspawn corpses beneath it into fragnts, and sending several Drakeblood Knights flying from the impact.

Seeing this familiar foe, Lucian finally rembered—it seed this was indeed the boss of the Sellia Crystal Tunnel.

The greatest difference between a Fallingstar Beast and a Fully-Grown Fallingstar Beast was that the skull-like head and exposed eyes had yet to fully erge.

It appeared the rotspawn had sohow released it.

That said, the Fallingstar Beast was not outrageously strong either. Lucian judged that its combat power was only slightly above that of a Dragonkin Soldier.

He decided to observe how the Drakeblood Knight Legion would handle such a creature. If the casualties beca excessive, he would intervene to stabilize the situation—

When the Fallingstar Beast suddenly erged from the passage, the Drakeblood Knights were all taken aback.

They had never seen such a creature before.

But since it clearly could not be reasoned with, the solution was simple—kill it.

The Drakeblood Knights surrounded the Fallingstar Beast and charged together with sword and shield in hand.

Sensing the sheer number of creatures encircling it, violet gravitational lightning began to flicker across the beast's twin jaws. The massive mandibles pressed inward, as though gathering energy.

Lowering its head, it drew gravitational lightning along the ground, then violently snapped its head upward.

In an instant, violet gravity surged across the ground, and massive chunks of rock erupted upward under its pull.

Though the Drakeblood Knights shouted warnings to one another and scattered to evade, several were still launched into the air by the sudden stone spikes.

At the sa ti, knights approaching from other directions swung their greatswords, striking the Fallingstar Beast's body.

However, its rock-ford physique was incomparably tough—far sturdier than any foe the Drakeblood Knights had previously faced.

Even as greatswords struck its body, all they managed to do was blast off shards of stone.

The Fallingstar Beast neither dodged nor retreated, sweeping its long, spiked stone tail from side to side, as casually as a bull swatting flies.

During this, it calmly lowered its head once more, charging power again.

This ti, within several ters around its body, violet gravitational lightning erupted everywhere.

It braced itself on its hind legs, lifting its upper body and head high toward the cavern ceiling.

With a thunderous roar, massive rocks were torn from the ground by gravity, knocking Drakeblood Knights sprawling in every direction.

Imdiately after, the Fallingstar Beast leapt into the air, curling its body into a ball mid-flight, and slamd down toward the knights who had been knocked off their feet.

If this attack landed, several Drakeblood Knights beneath it would be crushed into pulp.

Those who were still standing unleashed streaks of Storm Blade from Stormveil, striking the Fallingstar Beast repeatedly in midair, slowing its descent.

Hakkkan dragged his oversized Drakeblood Greatsword with one hand and charged toward the beast's landing point.

Gripping the massive blade with both hands, he spun his body in a full rotation, channeling his montum into the sword, and violently slashed upward.

The motion was like hurling a discus—an explosion of raw power that allowed a human to briefly contend with a creature of living stone.

The blade collided with the descending Fallingstar Beast, blasting apart large sections of its rocky body and successfully interrupting its downward smash.

The Drakeblood Knights who had fallen to the ground seized the opportunity to scramble back to their feet, once again surrounding the Fallingstar Beast.

When the creature stood up again, its body was already riddled with all kinds of damage.

Though bladed weapons dealt limited harm to it, sheer numbers made up for the deficit.

With so many knights attacking, even scraping damage accumulated rapidly—let alone blows far stronger than re scratches.

Under such relentless assault, the Fallingstar Beast inevitably grew enraged.

It lowered its head, clamped its twin jaws together, and drove them deep into the rocky ground.

With a violent upward heave, it used gravity to shovel up countless fragnts of stone, launching them toward the Drakeblood Knights like shrapnel.

Using the brief mont created by forcing the knights back, it snapped its jaws open and lunged to the side, biting blindly.

One Drakeblood Knight failed to dodge in ti and was seized by the massive jaws, lifted into the air, his body nearly torn in half by the crushing force.

Yet amid the agony, the power gained from consuming dragon blood surged wildly through his body—his strength reaching its peak in that instant.

He thrust his Drakeblood Greatsword between the Fallingstar Beast's jaws, stabbing deep into the pale fur, exposing the skull beneath.

The thrust was just slightly off, so close to dealing a devastating blow.

The Fallingstar Beast was completely enraged.

It slamd downward, embedding the knight's body into the ground, then hurled him high into the air, flinging the corpse—now broken in two, away.

Witnessing their comrade die such a brutal death before their eyes, the surrounding Drakeblood Knights felt their vision redden as they entered a special state.

Their heartbeats accelerated, blood surged through their veins, and power poured forth from within.

This was another special effect of Drake blood, allowing them to enter a berserk-like state.

Pain perception was dulled, and physical attributes were heightened.

At present, the Drakeblood Knights had consud lesser dragon flesh too few tis and in insufficient quantity. They only possessed such passive effects and were not yet capable of using Dragon Communion incantations.

At present, this special state would only manifest when they were facing mortal danger, or when their emotions surged to an extre degree.

In the future, once they had devoured more and more flying dragon flesh, they would be able to actively invoke these abilities at will.

Hakkan let out a thunderous roar, a battle cry infused with magic that instantly invigorated the surrounding knights.

Imdiately afterward, a blood-red aura far denser than that of any other Drakeblood Knight surged up around Hakkan's body.

Even the patterns engraved upon his Drakeblood armor began to glow with a dark crimson light.

From the position where he had been forced back earlier, he took the initiative and charged straight toward the front line.

As the legion commander, there was actually no need for him to personally rush into the thick of battle.

After all, only with his presence could the legion function efficiently. Otherwise, no matter how high the individual combat strength, they would rely beco a disorganized mass.

But it was precisely because Hakkan repeatedly stepped forward in battle that the Drakeblood Knights respected and trusted him so deeply.

Hakkan leapt high into the air, and the greatsword in his hands—simple and unadorned, ca crashing down toward the Fallingstar Beast's head.

Its skull was imdiately split with shattered cracks, and even the not-yet-fully-ford deep-blue eye within the skull seeped out blue blood.

The Fallingstar Beast, suffering a heavy blow, violently twisted its head and flung Hakkan away.

Hakkan crashed into a crude wooden shack, collapsing it entirely.

However, he did not suffer serious injuries. He stood back up and rejoined the battlefield without hesitation.

The other Drakeblood Knights were greatly encouraged. With relentless swings of their greatswords, massive amounts of stone debris blasted outward.

By this point, the Fallingstar Beast's entire body had been stripped of a layer of rocky armor.

Compared to when it first erged, its size had shrunk by a large margin, and even its tail had already been severed by the Drakeblood Knights.

Realizing that continuing like this would only lead to death, the Fallingstar Beast gathered all of its remaining magical power into its twin jaws.

As it stomped down and raised its head, the surrounding space was completely locked by gravity.

The Drakeblood Knights were suddenly rendered weightless, floating into midair.

Faced with such an abnormal phenonon, the Drakeblood Knights were montarily at a loss.

The Fallingstar Beast's attack was about to descend—if it landed, the casualties would undoubtedly be severe.

Seeing such a large-scale AoE attack, Lucian drew out his Ruins Greatsword, preparing to block it for the Drakeblood Knights.

He had already seen enough of their combat capabilities. There was no need to lose too many people in a place like this.

Lucian gripped the Ruins Greatsword and let out a furious roar toward the sky.

A vast amount of magic power surged through the blade, transforming into violet gravitational energy that collided with and neutralized the gravity released by the Fallingstar Beast.

The Drakeblood Knights who had been floating in midair were once again pulled down by gravity and slamd back onto the ground.

They imdiately rolled to their feet and launched another assault on the Fallingstar Beast.

After dissolving the beast's strongest move, Lucian kept the Ruins Greatsword and waited for the Drakeblood Knights to finish it off.

With its ultimate trump card gone, the Fallingstar Beast was no longer able to resist.

Under the encirclent and assault of countless Drakeblood Knights, the wounds covering its body rapidly worsened.

Hakkan returned to the front lines, standing sideways with one hand gripping the sword hilt and the other pressing against the blade itself.

He then stepped forward heavily, bringing the greatsword down like a massive guillotine.

With a low, mournful whine, the Fallingstar Beast was successfully slain by the Drakeblood Knight Order.

At this point, there were no longer any forces within the cavern capable of resisting the Drakeblood Knights.

Afterward, the Drakeblood Knights thodically cleared out the remaining tunnels, completely reclaiming the Sellia Crystal Tunnel.

Hakkan stood before Lucian and reported the gains and losses from this operation.

First, the gains.

They had successfully reclaid the Sellia Crystal Tunnel, exterminated all rotspawn, and preserved the majority of the miners.

The tunnel could now resu mining operations at any ti.

In several locations, they also recovered so items, including two bell bearings that could extract smithing stones, a Faithful's Canvas Talisman, and several Rune Arcs.

As for the losses—

In this battle, they lost a total of roughly thirty Drakeblood Knights.

Most of them fell during direct frontal combat. During the subsequent tunnel-clearing phase, although they encountered ambushes and traps, there were essentially no serious casualties.

Lucian nodded.

The number of casualties was not excessive.

Aside from those who died on the spot and could not be saved, the rest of the injured had all been treated with healing perfus and restorative incantations.

Moreover, the surviving Drakeblood Knights had been tempered through battle, their strength growing even further.

Lucian left behind approximately one hundred and fifty Drakeblood Knights, along with several Sellian Sorcerers who were unwilling to leave their holand, to guard the crystal tunnel.

The remaining Drakeblood Knights escorted the Sellia mages and set off together on the migration toward Stormveil.

Lucian, anwhile, used teleportation to arrive ahead of them at the underground chamber where Sorceress Sellen was located.

Because he suddenly rembered—

Sellen would certainly be very familiar with the Academy of Raya Lucaria, and he could absolutely ask her about the internal maps of the academy.

[T/N: So In-Ga facts about the Fallingstar Beast ]

The Fallingstar Beast is a field boss in Elden Ring, found in three locations:

Sellia Crystal Tunnel (Caelid), accessible via a transporter's trap in Dragon-Burnt Ruins

Altus Plateau, near the Capital Outskirts' western gate, across from Perfur's Grotto

Full-Grown Fallingstar Beast (optional boss), located on Mt. Gelmir, accessible via a Spirit Spring from the Ninth Mt. Gelmir Campsite Site of Grace.

The Full-Grown Fallingstar Beast is the most challenging variant, featuring a second phase with powerful gravity-based attacks and a sweeping energy beam. It is immune to physical damage, Bleed, Frost, and Hemorrhage, but weak to Elental, Magical, and teoric Ore Blade damage, especially attacks targeting its head.

Key Weaknesses & Strategies:

Magic users (Sorcery/Faith) have the easiest ti, using spells like Rock Sling, Great Glintstone Shard, Electrify Armant, or Blackfla Blade.

lee builds should use weapons with elental or magic affinity (e.g., Scholar's Armant).

Avoid shields as gravity attacks are unblockable; focus on dodging and positioning.

Critical tip:

When the boss is staggered (e.g., after a head hit), spam attacks on its face while it's down, this is the fastest way to defeat it.

Rewards (from Full-Grown Fallingstar Beast):

Fallingstar Beast Jaw (a powerful Colossal Weapon with a lightning bolt skill)

Somber Smithing Stone x6

Smithing Stone x5

21,000 Runes
