With its vast ga library, robust functionality, and detailed instructions, it remained a cornerstone of ga modification tools, even in the year 2043. Every year, countless players joined the cult of Wind Spirit Moon Shadow. From casuals wanting to skip tedious grinding to veterans seeking new experiences after a hundred-percent run, all found refuge in its offerings.
Naturally, Lucian was one of its many devoted users.
Sotis he used it to skip aningless mobs. Other tis, it was to fly across maps and explore hidden corners. He knew Wind Spirit Moon Shadow like the back of his hand. So, when that black panel appeared in front of him during the battle, he knew—he was saved.
The Grafted Scion clearly didn't understand what was happening. Its sword, which should have pierced clean through flesh, had halted as if it struck solid steel. No matter how much strength it used, it couldn't move an inch further.
Seizing the final seconds of invincibility, Lucian struck the sword aside with his elbow, sending it skewering into the floor. Then he sat up with a sudden jolt.
The invincibility ended. And then—
"Activate One-Hit Kill."

He didn't even bother retrieving a weapon. Instead, he balled his fist and swung it straight at The Grafted Scion.
The grotesque creature stared at the Tarnished in confusion. That punch—what could it possibly accomplish? It regarded the feeble strike as nothing more than a final act of defiance.
Wham!
Lucian's fist landed squarely on the massive golden shield.
In the next second, the body hidden behind it exploded into a cloud of blood and gore, spraying across the ceiling.
More than half of its grotesque form vanished in that instant. And for a creature like The Grafted Scion, whose unnatural form relied on countless sewn-together limbs, this was unquestionably fatal.
It was dead. Completely and utterly.
Golden energy drifted from the remains and flowed into Lucian.
"Is this...runes?" he murmured.
He could feel them entering his body, but had no idea where they had gone.
Still, the danger was gone. He had survived.
His heart pounded as he stared at the blood-soaked floor, the remnants of his near-death encounter fresh in his mind.
In the Lands Between, even roars held power. So could empower the user, others could debuff enemies, and a few—like the one he'd just endured—could inflict direct damage.
Had it been any other skill, Lucian might've been able to rely on his ga knowledge to dodge or block. But the unexpected roar had nearly spelled his end.
Still, he had won. And more importantly, he had learned. He could apply this experience in future battles.
He also noticed sothing else—his body. It didn't feel foreign to him. Quite the opposite. In combat, it responded with incredible precision, as if optimized for battle. His mind, however, occasionally lagged behind, not quite used to keeping up with the body's instincts.
Now that The Grafted Scion was dead and the imdiate crisis was over, all he had to do was find a way off this damned island. Then, he would have ti to grow stronger.
"First problem: how the hell do I get down from here?"
Originally, he thought it would be simple. With Wind Spirit Moon Shadow activated, he could just fly away, right?
Wrong.
After fiddling with the black panel, Lucian realized this version of Wind Spirit Moon Shadow was incomplete.
The functions currently available were:
Invincibility Mode
Infinite Health
Infinite Focus
Infinite Stamina
Zero Equipnt Weight
Invisibility Mode
Remove Status Effects
Enemy Location Tracking
Rune Gain Multiplier
Super Damage
Gone were the direct stat edits, rune count changes, item quantity modifications—all the heavy hitters were missing.
Worst of all, there was no flight mode.
In other words, he couldn't just fly off the island.
There was another major limitation: Wind Spirit Moon Shadow couldn't be used endlessly.
Just like in the recent fight, Invincibility had lasted only two seconds. One-Hit Kill wasn't truly instant death—it had rely stacked a ridiculously high damage multiplier onto his weapon, plus a flat chunk of bonus damage. The black panel didn't even explain what the actual multipliers were, and it could only be used once.
Since his fist had basically zero base damage, all the destruction had co from that bonus.
Looking at the interface now, Lucian saw a five-slot blue energy bar. Two slots were now dimd gray.
Yes—Wind Spirit Moon Shadow required energy to activate functions. Each use depleted one segnt.
And he had no idea how to replenish it.
If it regenerated over ti, he could just hide sowhere and recover, then sneak up on bosses with Invisibility and One-Hit Kill (Super Damage) them.
But if it didn't... then this energy was extrely precious.
He shoved that problem aside for now. First, he needed to get off this island.
After taking a mont to catch his breath and confirm his condition had recovered to about ninety percent, Lucian walked over to the Grafted Scion's scattered limbs.
Ti to loot the corpse.
He retrieved a pair of Ornantal Straight Sword, a Golden Beast Crest Shield, a massive blue peacock-feathered cloak, and a few scattered noble trinkets.
He tested the swords but kept knocking the blades together while dual-wielding them. It felt like he was just shy of mastering them—maybe missing a key stat requirent or technique.
As for the greatshield? Simple—it was too heavy. He could barely lift it, let alone use it effectively.
He bundled everything in the peacock-feathered cloak, tying it up with the rope he'd found earlier, and prepared to explore the rest of the island.
Under the watchful eyes of a giant statue of a Leyndell Knight and a statue of Queen Marika, he found nothing else but that sa short rope.
Eventually, Lucian made his way to the far edge of the island.
There, a broken platform jutted out into open air. Beyond the break, he could see the distant silhouette of a ruined castle. Its walls were riddled with holes, scarred by the taint of death.
Stormveil Castle. The domain of the Golden King—Godrick the Grafted.
"Sigh... I guess I really do have to jump."
He looked down. Thick storms churned below, obscuring the sea from view.
He considered his options. Jumping might kill him—but if he tid Invincibility just right, maybe he'd survive the fall.
He removed his armor, keeping only his satchel on him. The rest—armor, weapons, and loot—he wrapped in the feathered cloak and tied together with the rope. He held the end in one hand, ready to release it if necessary.
Just in case he failed to activate Invincibility and blacked out on impact, he didn't want to drown in heavy armor.
Taking a deep breath, he cast one last glance back at the Chapel of Anticipation.
Then, gripping his bundle, Lucian leapt off the edge—
—and plumted into the storm below.
