It’s simply too much... Even if Mabel Quinn and Kyle Kinston are getting married, Mabel is just a mber of the branch family, and one without any blood relation at that.
But what does this an now? Mabel’s wedding banquets are actually being organized by the Quinn Family. The tavern currently selected by my uncle for Mabel is the best, most upscale in J City, and judging by my father’s remarks, my uncle doesn’t seem to have any financial limitations, which ans everything for Mabel’s wedding banquet will be the finest.
The Quinn Family might end up spending tens of millions on a wedding banquet alone, and my uncle plans to personally purchase the dowry for Mabel!
Damn it! When Granny Taylor passed away, she already gave Mabel so many things. Now my uncle intends to marry Mabel off like a daughter—where does that leave ? If in the future, my wedding isn’t more grand than Mabel’s, I’d be laughed at to death!
At this mont, as the two were about to brush past each other, Alessia Quinn suddenly shifted her steps to block Mabel Quinn’s path, "Mabel, I heard your ’Empress’ is participating in the film festival, huh? What’s the plan? Hoping to sell it at a good price?"
Mabel glanced at her, "It’s none of your business, but I wonder when you’ll be able to return to Quinn Film Industry."
Alessia nearly gritted her teeth to shreds. Previously, because of Mabel, the two films she was working on ended abruptly, and she was suspended. Now she’s only doing so trivial work in other departnts of Quinn Group.
"You can only feel smug for now, just because you resemble my uncle’s forr lover a bit. But I doubt you’ll be clinging to it for much longer." Alessia said hatefully. If the speculation between her and her brother were true, and her uncle had found his biological child and was conducting DNA tests, then if he really had a biological child, surely he would only pamper them and not care about Mabel!
Wait a second! Suddenly, Alessia jolted, realizing another possibility. Mabel’s looks... and now my uncle’s grand preparations for Mabel’s wedding banquets and dowry—does it an...
Alessia was startled by the possibilities she had guessed.
Could Mabel really be my uncle’s child? If true, in the future her uncle might raise Mabel to the skies, and she would have even less standing in the Quinn Family.
Mabel just felt Alessia staring at her in shock, as if witnessing sothing extraordinarily unbelievable, and then almost fled from her presence in what could only be described as a hasty retreat.
Mabel was speechless and had no desire to pay attention to whatever was happening with Alessia, and she walked out of the Quinn Group’s building.
In the elevator, Alessia bit her lip fiercely, her face showing extre displeasure. It couldn’t be, Mabel couldn’t be my uncle’s daughter! Absolutely not!
Even if my uncle did have a child, an outsider would be better than Mabel!

On the day of the film festival, Mabel went with the producer, director, and several other crew mbers. During the festival, a 20-minute preview of ’Empress’ was screened; it was quite effective. At least several online video platforms approached them, showing interest in purchasing the microfilm.
