And since he didn’t speak, the few people standing behind him naturally dared not say anything either, waiting quietly.

Edward Quinn’s condition worsened again, increasing Mabel Quinn’s worries. As she stood outside the intensive care unit, worrying as she watched Edward lying lifelessly inside, Alessia Quinn suddenly rushed over in anger. As soon as she saw Mabel, she furiously said, "Mabel Quinn, it was you. You’re the one who did that to my brother, weren’t you? You’re vicious. How could you do such a thing? It’s not enough for you to harm your dad, Uncle’s not enough, and now you want to harm my brother!"
"I don’t know what you’re talking about," Mabel said coldly.
"You bitch, who else but you hates my brother this much!" Alessia was so furious she charged forward, raising her hand to slap Mabel.
But the next mont, she was blocked by the two bodyguards Kyle Kinston had assigned to Mabel.
The bodyguards, naturally not going easy on Alessia, twisted her arm behind her back, causing her to cry out in pain.
"Ouch, who are you people?! Mabel Quinn, tell them to let go! Don’t they know who I am?" Alessia’s face showed pain, yet she kept shouting, acting as if her status was very noble.
Mabel couldn’t be bothered with her; she was entirely focused on worrying about her uncle’s illness.
Christopher Quinn and Camille Grant arrived just then, Camille looking haggard with red swollen eyes, her face devoid of its usual carefully made-up appearance. Seeing her daughter restrained like that, she let out a piercing scream, "Let my daughter go, or I’ll call the police."
The bodyguards didn’t pay her any attention and just looked towards Mabel, awaiting instructions.
Seeing this, Christopher Quinn quickly said to Mabel, "Mabel, please have them let go. Alessia just heard about her brother and got a bit anxious."
Christopher Quinn also looked haggard, his brow tightly knit. Recently, their family had encountered a series of unfortunate events. First, it was the older brother’s accident, and then the younger son’s incident yesterday.
