She was suddenly stunned, it was Daniel Harris!
She hadn’t expected to et Daniel here! And judging by Daniel’s deanor, he was clearly not surprised by her appearance.
"eting you is really not that easy, huh," Daniel said with a slight lift of his lips.
Mabel Quinn hesitated, "You specifically waited for here?"
"Yes, I was still a bit worried and decided to see you," Daniel replied.
"Those dical troublemakers... um, did you arrange that?" she asked.
"You have people around you, so maybe this arrangent would be better," Daniel said. "I don’t know what you plan to do in the future, but if you need my help, feel free to ask."
Mabel gently lowered her eyes, "Thank you, you’ve already helped a lot, the rest I can manage myself."
"What do you plan to do then? Convince Kyle Kinston to keep the baby?" After all, the pregnancy won’t be able to be concealed for long before physical changes begin.
Mabel simply said softly, "I’ll figure sothing out," then paused, and continued, "Those two bodyguards should be coming to this floor soon to find ."
Daniel pursed his thin lips and finally asked, "Do you still love Kyle Kinston?"
And she didn’t answer.
After a mont, the elevator door dinged open again, and the two bodyguards walked quickly out of the elevator. Seeing Mabel standing calmly at the elevator door, safe and sound, they breathed a sigh of relief.
"Miss Mabel, are you alright?"
Mabel shook her head, "I’m fine, those dical troublemakers didn’t hurt . Let’s go, I want to go back and rest."
Thus, the two bodyguards followed Mabel and stepped back into the elevator.
Not until the elevator door closed did Daniel erge slowly from the shadows, his eyes filled with worry.
Why did her silence make him so uneasy? Making him feel as if sothing was about to happen, but he couldn’t stop it.
If he could, how much he wished to take her under his wings, to protect her well and give her a lifeti of peace and happiness.
But for now, what he could do was so little.
The hand hanging at his side tightened involuntarily.

When Mabel returned to Kyle’s mansion, Kyle’s car also arrived at the front of the mansion. Seeing the man in a crisp suit getting out of the car, Mabel couldn’t help but be a bit dazed.
His appearance in a suit was still so dignified, giving off a sense of coldness yet an aloof deanor as well. A man like him is used to controlling everything, isn’t he?
And she was also one of those under his control.
"Why don’t you rest more in your room?" he slightly furrowed his brow and asked, feeling that she had grown thinner these past days, her pale complexion and gaunt cheeks now made her look like a fragile porcelain doll.
"I’ve rested for several days already, there’s no issue now. Besides, staying in the room all the ti is less comfortable than moving around a bit," she replied.
As they entered the house, he asked, "Where did you go today?"
"I went to the studio to submit my resignation letter," she replied. "Then I visited the cetery, and after that, I went to the hospital to see my uncle," she added, knowing that even if she didn’t say, he could find out from the two bodyguards following her.
