Alice Conley was also anxious, and quickly said, "Okay... okay, I’ll find a way to contact Mabel... I... I’ll contact her right now."

Alice Conley knew she couldn’t bla Dorian Howards, after all, his primary concern was her health. But with sothing happening to Mabel, she couldn’t just stay put, counting days and waiting to give birth.
Thus, Alice Conley expressed her intention to go to W City, and upon hearing this, Dorian Howards imdiately vetoed, "That’s not possible, at this ti, you should stay in J City safely."
"Dorian!" Alice said, "My due date is still two weeks away, you want to do nothing and stay here in J City? You know better than anyone how much Mabel has helped , and my family."
Dorian Howards fell silent again, only speaking a while later, "Okay, then you wait for at ho, I’ll go with you to W City!" After all, he was worried too!
