This woman looks like a fresh graduate. Can she really persuade Atlas Shaw to keep filming? The director was skeptical.
Leo, on the other hand, breathed a long sigh of relief upon seeing the woman, "Thank goodness, you’re finally here."
"The road was a bit jamd," the woman said, "Where’s Atlas? Where is he?" She looked around but didn’t see Atlas Shaw.
"He’s still sulking in the resting room." Leo quickly led the way, bringing her to the door of the resting room, then looked at her with an expression that said, "It’s all up to you."
Mabel Quinn couldn’t help but feel speechless. Seriously, he’s a top agent, isn’t he supposed to easily handle those difficult artists? But when it cos to Atlas Shaw, they always call her for help.
Mabel pushed open the resting room door and saw Atlas Shaw sitting on a chair.
"Get out! I don’t want to see anyone right now!" A voice filled with impatience roared in the room.
"Um... Should I get out too?" Mabel asked.
As soon as she spoke, Atlas Shaw turned his head, and his expression imdiately brightened, "Why are you here?"
"Leo called , said you were mad and refused to act, asked to co and persuade you," she said.
"Then how do you plan to persuade ?" He raised his eyebrows slightly, seeming intrigued by this.
"How would you like to persuade you?" she asked in return.
Atlas’s eyes flickered, then he chuckled softly, "Why don’t you pat my head, then I’ll calm down and can go back to filming."
Mabel chuckled, "Sure." Just patting his head, that’s easy enough.
So, he leaned forward, bringing his head closer to her. She lifted her hand and gently patted the top of his head. He closed his eyes contentedly, showing a comfortable expression.
Seeing him like this, he seed like a large dog, only short of wagging his tail. Mabel patted his soft hair off and on, but suddenly felt a flash of déjà vu; so things seed as if they were from a past life. Once, she had also patted another person’s head like this.
That person used to say he liked her patting his head like this.
So distant...really feels so distant now...
Suddenly, Mabel found herself staring into Atlas’s beautiful dark eyes.
"What are you thinking about?" Atlas squinted slightly and asked.
"Ah, it’s nothing." She quickly said, "Alright, I’ve done it. You can act now, right? Otherwise, Leo and the crew might cry."
His eyes were still fixated on her, seemingly dissatisfied with her explanation; he knew she must be thinking of another man.
He didn’t know what happened between her and that man, why she wouldn’t seek him out again, but he knew that in her heart, that man’s presence was always there.
Suddenly, a smile appeared at the corner of his lips, "Okay, I’ll act, but I want you to watch act from the side."
"Eh." Her face showed a troubled expression, "But I have to pick up Ivy soon, it’s almost kindergarten dismissal ti."
"It’ll be quick, I promise, just ten minutes!" He said confidently.
Ten minutes, that ans it’s a one-take shot, no second takes needed.
