When Mabel Quinn finished her work and checked the ti, it was already past 6 o’clock. She imdiately started to pack up her things. Fortunately, she had already inford the nanny to pick up the child from kindergarten. As she tidied up, Mabel took out her phone and dialed the nanny’s number.

She told the nanny she would be back soon, put away her phone, and crouched down, following the direction where the pen had rolled, until she saw it had gone under the sofa in the corner.
Mabel bent down, ready to retrieve it from under the sofa, when she heard a bang as the conference room door opened, followed by a familiar voice saying, "Without my orders... no one is allowed to enter..."
Mabel froze... That voice was Kyle’s voice!
Even after six years, she could still instantly recognize his voice. At the mont, because she was bent down, her body was blocked by the sofa, so she hadn’t been discovered by him yet.
Next, she heard the conference room door being shut and the sound of the lock.
Mabel was extrely anxious. God, how was she going to leave now?!
Even worse, she saw Kyle pulling at his tie, his fingers almost trembling as he took out a small white bottle from the inner pocket of his jacket.
That small dicine bottle looked sowhat familiar to Mabel. She rembered seeing a similar bottle before and he had ntioned it’s a special dicine for his hidden ailnt.
Could it be... that his ailnt was troubling him now?
