Alice Conley said, "In the history of the Kinston Family, there are indeed quite a few people with short lives. I saw so gossip on a forum earlier about this, saying that the Kinston Family is very strange, with frequent premature deaths as if they're cursed. Soone even analyzed the lifespans of the Kinston Family over generations, finding that in almost every generation, there are those who die young—so by accident, so by suicide, and so sacrificing for the country; in short, there are all kinds of deaths."

After a pause, Alice Conley provided an example, "Just like Kyle Kinston's father, who died at the age of 43. So say it was due to illness, others claim it was suicide, but there are many rumors, and the Kinston Family has never made the cause of death public. Strictly speaking, the Kinston Family now is just Kyle Kinston's family alone. Kyle is unmarried and childless now; if he were to die, the entire Kinston Family would likely collapse, causing tremors in the business world and the dostic economy."

Mabel Quinn was taken aback; she hadn't known that Kyle Kinston's father had died long ago.

During a class the next day, Mabel Quinn casually checked so online news pages about Kyle Kinston on her phone — mother died at age nine, father at seventeen, inheriting the enormous Kinston Family. In just twelve years, he expanded the Kinston business territory at a speed far beyond ordinary people and took full control of Falling City.

Of course, behind him was the massive original accumulation of the Kinston Family, but Kyle himself was undoubtedly a formidable character; otherwise, Falling City might have changed hands long ago.

All of a sudden, she felt that despite Kyle Kinston's glamorous position, the hidden difficulties and dangers were probably unimaginable to ordinary people.

When the last class in the afternoon ended, Mabel Quinn was packing her things when her phone suddenly rang. The caller ID showed a "Kinston."

It was a call from Kyle Kinston! Mabel Quinn quickly answered it, "Hello, um... what's the matter?" she asked.

"Your classes are over for the day, right? Co to the school gate; soone will pick you up to co to ." Kyle Kinston's words were straightforward, and before Mabel Quinn could ask what it was about, he hung up the phone.

Mabel Quinn stared at her phone in hand, what did that an? Does this an... she'll have to et Kyle Kinston again tonight?!

The person picking her up at the school gate was Caleb.

Mabel Quinn got into the black Rolls-Royce almost as if escaping, after all, such a luxury car was too conspicuous.

On the way, Mabel Quinn couldn't help but ask Caleb, "Do you know why Mr. Kinston wants to see today?"

"Once Miss Quinn ets Elder Kinston, you'll naturally know." Caleb replied with a slight smile.

This...might as well not have been said; it seed impossible to get anything out of him.

Caleb drove the car to Kyle Kinston's residence, and Mabel Quinn got out of the car. Caleb glanced at the ti and then said, "Miss Quinn, shortly a servant will guide you to dine and bathe, and then take you to see Elder Kinston."

"Is all that necessary? Can't I just go see him first?" Mabel Quinn asked, hoping to finish quickly so she could leave sooner.

"Those are Elder Kinston's instructions." Caleb replied earnestly.

Mabel Quinn had no choice but to resign herself and followed the servant to the dining room.
