As this thought crossed her mind, Mabel Quinn almost felt struck by lightning. A man like Kyle Kinston didn’t seem like soone who could ever be associated with shyness!

"Okay," Mabel responded, and then she focused all her attention on the upcoming training.
After so warm-up exercises, Kyle Kinston began teaching Mabel Quinn so basic self-defense moves. Although these moves seed similar to what her drill instructors taught during military training, Kyle Kinston’s demonstrations were far more appealing, truly remarkable. Each move was fluid, yet conveyed a sense of power, making her feel quite fired up.
Mabel Quinn couldn’t help but sigh at the importance of looks. If her drill instructor had been Kyle Kinston back then, perhaps she would have learned those self-defense moves with much more enthusiasm.
After finishing a set of moves, Kyle Kinston asked, "Is there anything you don’t understand or can’t grasp?"
Mabel Quinn answered straightforwardly, "No, nothing."
"Okay, show the set," he indicated for her to practice the routine she had just seen.
Mabel thought for a mont and then replied, "Um... I actually didn’t understand any of it, could you perform it again?"
"..." As their eyes t, Mabel imdiately felt a surge of pressure, assuming he had overestimated her, thinking she could perform the moves just from watching once.
Moreover, when he was performing just now, she was too busy appreciating his movents to rember any of the actual steps.
Kyle Kinston glared at Mabel Quinn, who tried her best to thicken her own skin.
A few minutes later, Kyle Kinston started demonstrating the sa set of moves again. This ti, Mabel Quinn focused her attention on morizing each of his moves.
Yet, it wasn’t until Kyle Kinston had demonstrated three tis and then guided Mabel Quinn hand by hand three more tis that Mabel finally managed to rember the entire set of moves with great difficulty.
Mabel Quinn’s performance in this regard was enough to be labeled as a "bad student," which caused Kyle Kinston so headache. If it had been in the past, soone like this would have been called out by the officer and punished with 30 laps around the field.
