"Look, this is the male lead. He's completely devoted to the female lead, like a loyal dog. Whatever she asks, he does it. He'd rather betray everyone else but not her."
He glanced at her lightly, "Do you like such n?"
"A lot of won probably like this kind of man," she said. This TV series is really popular lately, and it's getting rave reviews online. Most won's comnts wish the male lead could be their own husband.
"I'm asking, do you like this kind of man? The kind who does whatever the woman wants him to?" His dark eyes fixed intently on her, making Mabel Quinn's heart begin to race.
"What, is this question hard to answer?" He leaned his upper body slightly toward her, and suddenly, that handso face was magnified in front of her.
The chiseled facial lines, deep eyes, and that straight nose all seed to be captivating, especially those unbelievably long eyelashes. When his eyelids were half-closed, they were even more prominent, making Mabel tempted to reach out and touch them to see if they were real.
Of course, she still had so rationality and didn't actually dare to touch the eyelashes of this CEO.
"I... of course, I kind of like such n," she swallowed and said. It seed that his good looks had so effect on her, at least being so close to his face made her feel all the blood in her body rushing to her face.
"Is that so?" He snorted coldly and leisurely leaned back on the sofa, his gaze turning to the TV screen. However, his grip on her hand tightened a bit more.
It hurt a bit!
Mabel Quinn muttered in her heart, but she didn't have the courage to resist the oppressive force, so she continued watching the TV series.
The storyline at this mont was showing the enemies chasing the male and female leads.
Mabel Quinn's attention was imdiately focused on the TV show. She was even moved to tears when she saw the female lead die from a blow while saving the male lead, who then turned into a demon.
When she reached for a tissue on the table with her free hand, her chin was suddenly caught by Kyle Kinston's fingers, forcing her to face him.
"You're crying?" His brows slightly furrowed, seemingly surprised that a re TV show could make her shed tears.
"The ending is too tragic," she sniffled, without ntioning that the TV series' female lead was apparently a good friend from her childhood. Watching her die on screen, even knowing it's fake and not real, still brought a sense of sadness.
His fingers gently wiped her tears, thoughtful. Then, without warning, he suddenly lowered his head, pressing his lips to her cheek at the corner of her eye.
Mabel Quinn was dumbfounded. It took her a few seconds to realize she... was he taking advantage of her again?
"What do you want to do?" She struggled, trying to push him away.
"Try moving again!" He said coldly, his fingers pressing harder, causing a sharp pain in her chin that made her gasp.
