Even though his father raised him, he never truly liked him.

Only after eting her did he begin to taste what it was like to be liked. It turns out that being liked by the person you care about is sothing that makes one feel happy, like a warm current continually nourishing the heart, making him no longer feel that living is sothing insignificant.

Alice Conley looked at her ex-boyfriend in front of her and felt overwheld, "Archibald, I’m telling you, we’re already broken up, and don’t get any more ideas. If you’re really capable, go to Kyle Kinston yourself and ask him for a job. Stop dragging and my friends into it!"
"Alice, I know the breakup was just sothing you said in a mont of anger, and besides, I’m doing this for a better future for us." Archibald said, "I just asked you to have your friend say a few words to Kyle Kinston to help find a job in an office. It’s not a cri."
Alice sneered. How did she not see that Archibald was this kind of person before? She thought he looked honest and probably didn’t have such scheming thoughts. Reality, however, slapped her hard in the face. "It was you who said that we should break up if I didn’t find you a job, so now that we’re broken up, what’s there to talk about?"
"But I was just speaking offhand, I didn’t an it." Archibald grabbed Alice, "Alice, I’m serious about you, I was wrong, I apologize." As he spoke, he leaned in to try to kiss Alice on the cheek, wanting to use a kiss to make ands.
Alice nearly threw up. What on earth was Archibald thinking?!
"Let go of !" Alice resisted and pushed Archibald away, but instead, Archibald only held her tighter, and seeing that he was about to kiss her, Alice was planning to kick him when another foot was faster and directly kicked Archibald to the ground.
"Who are you..." Before Archibald could finish his sentence, the other person had already stepped on his chest.
Archibald chose a secluded place to et Alice, and it was nightti, so there was hardly anyone else around. Naturally, there was no one to stand up for Archibald and help him out.
"I say, Alice Conley, is this the guy you ditched for back then?" The man’s voice ca from the darkness, sending a shiver down Alice’s spine.
She looked at Dorian Howards, who suddenly appeared, with surprise rather than embarrassnt at being saved by a hero. At 22, she had two boyfriends, and her ex had his predecessor stepping on him.
"This... this has nothing to do with you, Dorian Howards, please let him go." Alice said.
"It seed like he was about to assault you, or were you enjoying it? Did I interrupt you?" Dorian said nastily.
Alice thought about it and agreed, "Then step on him for a little longer."
Archibald yelled, "Alice Conley, what do you an? Bringing another man to handle ? Were you already with him, so when I ntioned breaking up, you couldn’t wait to do so?"
