Kyle Kinston finished adjusting the foot chain for Mabel Quinn, stood up again, and said, "Let’s go, head back first."
"Just leaving like this?" she asked.
"Unless you want to stay longer?" he countered.
Mabel Quinn looked at her current state and realized it wasn’t quite suitable, so she left the banquet with Kyle Kinston, leaving Alessia Quinn alone, enduring the gaze of the crowd.
In one corner of the banquet, Francine Howards’s lips were tightly pressed, and all traces of her smile had vanished.
Although she knew Kyle would inevitably feel differently about Mabel Quinn, seeing it with her own eyes still made her feel a sharp pain.

Mabel Quinn got into the car with Kyle Kinston, who asked, "Were you scared?"
"A little, but the quality of the dress you gave is good. Even with Alessia Quinn stomping on it forcefully, only the lower layer of the skirt was torn," Mabel joked, "By the way, how much did this dress cost? Since Alessia Quinn insists on compensating, we can’t let her down, can we?"
"I’ll send the bill to the Quinn Family later; Alessia Quinn certainly won’t be disappointed," Kyle replied.
Truly clever and charming! Mabel couldn’t help but reach out her hand to touch Kyle’s head. The mont her hand touched the top of his head, she suddenly realized that the man in front of her wasn’t the sa as the sick child who used to call her sister with the mind of a six-year-old.
"What’s wrong?" His eyebrows raised slightly, and his phoenix eyes fixed on her.
"Nothing, I just wanted to touch your head for a mont and realized it might not be appropriate," she said as she attempted to withdraw her hand.
But he was quicker, pressing her hand onto his head, letting her palm rest on one side, "There’s nothing inappropriate as long as I feel it’s right."
Uh? So what?!
Mabel blinked, her hand left touching his head, feeling the warmth through his soft black hair.
Her fingers gently intertwined with his strands, and though touching the sa person, it brought entirely different feelings.
He slowly closed his eyes, lowering his head to accommodate her touch.
"Mabel..." he murmured, "I think I might have fallen in love with you."
Her body jolted suddenly, eyes widening in disbelief, her almond eyes filled with his reflection, "You... love ?"
He nodded, pulling her hand to his chest, placing it there, "You said only oneself can know whether it’s love. I want to be the only one in your eyes and your heart, I don’t want you to belong to any other man, I want everything of yours, even your breath. Tell , can such possessiveness be called love?"
She was stunned, and he placed his hand over her heart as well, "Mabel, I love you."
She once said she would strive to make him fall in love with her, and now, he indeed had, declaring his love right before her.
Her heart was pounding wildly. She watched as his lips drew closer and his phoenix eyes slowly closed, casting long lashes over his eyelids.
His kiss landed gently on her lips, her hands wrapping around his neck. He loved her! This truth made her whole being leap with joy. Now, it was not only she who loved him, but he loved her as well.
When there’s soone in this world who truly loves you, your heart becos filled, no longer distressed or helpless.
Her almond eyes glistened, "Kyle, say you love again, will you?" She wanted to hear those words from him, as if they were the most beautiful language.
He chuckled softly, "I don’t say those three words lightly, but for you, I can say them a second ti." After a pause, his lips traced from her jaw to rest over her heart, "Mabel, in this life, you’re the first person I’ve fallen in love with and will be the last."
In this life, he would love only her!
"Mabel, you’re the only one for , and I’m the only one for you, how about that?" Never in his life had he thought there would be a woman who so enthralled his heart, making him want to claim everything about her yet willingly surrender at her feet.
By now, she was utterly enchanted, his voice washing over her ears, her luscious lips softly whispering a "yes."
From now on, they would be each other’s only.

Alice Conley and Dorian Howards exited the banquet. Alice had seen Alessia Quinn’s earlier uproar; she was initially ready to rush forward but was constantly pulled back by Dorian, making it hard for her to take any step. Fortunately, her friend resolved the awkwardness on her own, and later Kyle Kinston also stepped in, and the matter was settled.
Afterwards, she asked Dorian why he held her back, to which he leisurely replied, "If you had rushed up, it would have only made things spiral further out of control."
