"Mabel, I will give my whole self to you," he whispered. His fate still depended on her, he was not an unnecessary existence to her.
He would not be like his father, despised by the only one he truly depended on, nor would he be left wanting, or live a life filled with pain.
When he lifted his head again and saw that familiar face, if she was to be his fate for life, then at so point it had beco his fortune.
Otherwise, maybe he would never have known that loving soone could bring such happiness.

Francine Howards was sowhat surprised that Kyle Kinston would take the initiative to approach her. Seeing him sitting in the reception room, Francine said with a hint of joy, "Kyle, what brings you here? Would you like sothing to drink?"
"No need," Kyle replied indifferently, his gaze coldly sweeping over her. "Do you really not know why I’m here?"
Francine’s expression stiffened, and the joy on her face vanished. "You want to know what I said to Mabel Quinn at the Quinn Family’s place yesterday? Are you worried that I might have told her about your past, things that should not be known?" With just a little thought, she could guess his purpose, but she didn’t want to believe he ca solely because of Mabel.
Kyle stood up and approached Francine, "So did you tell her?"
The indifferent tone, the sharp eyes, yet with a dead look that made Francine shudder, her body trembling involuntarily. It was a feeling of fear.
Undeniably, even though she loved Kyle, she was still afraid of him.
Just like so humans, no matter how much they love a beast, deep down they still fear it. Because it is a fear of life and death; once the beast strikes, they might face death.
"If she truly loves you, then no matter what I said, she should still love you, shouldn’t she?" Francine forced herself to remain calm, saying with difficulty, "Conversely, if she holds a grudge against you because of it, then her love for you wasn’t deep. Is such a woman worth your feelings?"
He stepped closer and closer to her, and in the blink of an eye, he was standing in front of her, looking down at her condescendingly, "I only asked if you said anything or not."
His eyes were clearly looking at her, but the gaze felt as if he was looking at an object, devoid of any emotion, chillingly cold.
This is the man she loved and wanted to conquer. Would Mabel Quinn one day face such a gaze from him?
"No, I didn’t say anything," Francine replied, her throat dry.
Kyle narrowed his eyes slightly, "There are so things you should never say. Otherwise, even though you’re Dorian’s cousin, I won’t show any rcy."
After Kyle left, Francine realized that her palms were already covered in cold sweat.
A bitter laugh suddenly broke through her throat uncontrollably. Kyle actually ca to warn her for Mabel Quinn. And the sadder thing is, for so many years, to Kyle, she was at most just the cousin of Dorian Howards.
But she would not give up. She would make Kyle understand that she was the woman most suited for him.
