Fair is fair, even if Francine Howards doesn’t an well towards her, at least in this matter, if it weren’t for Francine’s reminder, the birthday surprise she planned for Kyle Kinston might have ended awkwardly.
After Mabel Quinn left, Francine Howards gave a self-mocking smile. Good intentions? She just didn’t want to see that fragile expression on Kyle’s face, in that kind of birthday scene prepared for him, his shock yet fragile and pale expression has always been etched on her heart. It’s hard for her to forget.

When Mabel Quinn returned to the Kinston Mansion, Kyle Kinston was already at the mansion, sitting on the sofa with his eyes closed, seemingly dozing.
But when she approached him, he suddenly opened his eyes, and one of his hands abruptly grabbed her wrist with such force that the five fingers seed as if they were going to dig into her bones.
Mabel Quinn cried out in surprise, shouting, "It hurts!"
It was only then that Kyle Kinston seed to suddenly co to his senses, his phoenix eyes cleared up a bit, and he loosened his grip on her hand, "Did I hurt you."
As he spoke, he pulled her to sit beside him, then looked at the fresh red bruise on her wrist. Her wrist was already slender, and in his hand, it seed as if a little more force could easily break it.
"It’s actually okay, just looks a bit serious, but it’s not that painful." Mabel Quinn smiled and shook her hand a bit to show that her hand was really fine.
However, Kyle Kinston’s expression did not improve at all, still with a somber face and slightly furrowed brows, he pulled her hand again and began to rub the bruise on her wrist.
It didn’t hurt until Kyle rubbed it, but as soon as he did, Mabel Quinn imdiately felt the pain, her face scrunched up in an instant.
"Bear with it, once it’s rubbed open, it will be fine tomorrow." Kyle Kinston said softly, almost like coaxing a child. If people from the Corporation saw this, they would probably be wide-eyed.
For soone like Kyle Kinston, when has he ever been so cautious in massaging soone’s wrist, afraid that a little extra force would hurt the other person.
After rubbing for a while, Mabel Quinn slowly got used to it, and then she asked, "What happened to you just now? Why did you suddenly grab my hand?"
Especially when he opened his eyes just now, those phoenix eyes were full of a kind of hostility, truly frightening.
"While leaning on the sofa with my eyes closed, sohow I thought of so bad things from the past, did I scare you?" Kyle Kinston said.
She shook her head, "Even if I was scared, it’s okay. But if you can, try to forget those bad things, or if you want soone to talk to, you can always co to ."
Talk about it? If he really told her about those past things, would she still look at him with such a bright smile now? Or would she be terrified and stay far away from him?
Kyle Kinston lowered his eyelids slightly, his long eyelashes covering his phoenix eyes. All along, he didn’t care about how many years he could live, carefree about life and death, but now he felt like he couldn’t afford to gamble.
