"Passing by here, I thought I’d co in and remind you, after tonight, it’ll be a week." In other words, it was the ti they had agreed on for her to move into the residence where he was currently living.
Mabel Quinn was montarily stunned. She had honestly forgotten about it. These past few days, she was busy dealing with the deliberate difficulties caused by Lyra Grant, and then suddenly thought she might be pregnant today, completely putting aside the matter of where she was supposed to move.
"What ti do you finish work here?" he asked lightly.
"Ten o’clock," she replied.
He then took the coffee she had just prepared and sat down at a vacant seat nearby.
In the cake shop, there was a table for two and three high tables by the glass window, convenient for so guests to rest or eat in the shop. And now Kyle Kinston was seated at that two-person table, with two bodyguards standing respectfully behind him.
It was at this mont that Mabel Quinn noticed that even outside the cake shop, there were bodyguards standing. Whenever custors entered the shop, they couldn’t help but glance in Kyle Kinston’s direction. After all, firstly, Kyle was incredibly handso, naturally drawing attention, and secondly, how many people would have two bodyguards with them while sitting in a shop drinking coffee!
"Mabel, is that person your friend?" the cashier, Little Chen, leaned over and asked in a low voice. Heaven knows when he saw the man enter with bodyguards earlier, he thought sothing had happened in the shop. His hands and legs were shaking at the cash register.
Friend? Mabel Quinn felt that her relationship with Kyle Kinston was more like a boss and subordinate relationship. Often, if Kyle gave an order, she had to follow it.
"Just an acquaintance," she said sowhat awkwardly.
"But didn’t he just ask you when you get off work? Do you think he plans to wait here for you to get off?" Little Chen speculated.
"You’re overthinking it," Mabel said, but her gaze couldn’t help but shift towards Kyle Kinston. She had to admit that even in an ordinary place like a cake shop, having soone like him sit there created a different atmosphere. Even the way he held a paper cup and drank coffee exuded an elegant and noble aura.
This scene practically looked like a poster picture.
Not only did she feel this way, evidently other custors who ca in felt the sa. So guests pointed their phones at Kyle Kinston, intending to take a picture, but one of the bodyguards stepped forward and in an instant, took the guest’s phone.
"Ah, my phone!" The guest was a young woman, who cried out, trying to get her phone back.
The other bodyguard stepped forward and said, "We need to check your phone to ensure it hasn’t taken anything it shouldn’t have."
The aura was as if they were going through a high-profile suspect investigation.
The woman imdiately didn’t dare make a sound, while Kyle Kinston continued to leisurely sip his coffee, as if none of this concerned him.
Beauty truly causes havoc!
Mabel Quinn muttered to herself, and suddenly, Kyle Kinston’s gaze turned toward her, and their eyes t in an instant.
Those phoenix eyes glead with a seductive brilliance. At this mont, he was less grave and cold, and instead emanated an enchanting allure that bewitched people.
