As Mabel was about to leave work, she picked up her bag and headed to the restroom, intending to touch up her makeup before departing. However, a stranger stopped her in front of the restroom.

Almost at the sa ti, Daniel Harris was at Grace Yowell’s residence, his face cold as he said, "Why did you post such a tweet?"
"I was just casually expressing my feelings, it’s not a big deal," Grace Yowell said, feigning grievance.
"But didn’t I say yesterday? This matter ends here!" Daniel retorted.
Grace bit her red lip and said, "I was only tweeting to vent my feelings, besides, I didn’t even na Mabel Quinn as the one responsible. Daniel, you want not to sue Mabel Quinn, okay, I promise you that. You want this matter to end here, okay, I promise that too. But it’s because I love you, so I’m willing to listen to you, willing to do this. But Daniel, have you thought about whether this is fair to ?"
Daniel’s body tensed slightly.
Tears welled in Grace’s eyes as she suddenly threw herself into Daniel’s arms, "Daniel, what has Mabel Quinn done for you that you always side with her, while I... I can give up everything for you. Daniel looked down at the person in his arms with a steady gaze. If he could, he too hoped he could love Grace; perhaps that would be best, but... emotions are not like life, sothing you can give at will. In the past, when he couldn’t see, he enjoyed the feeling of being with her—a comfort, a sense of having soone precious by his side whom he wanted to protect at all costs.
Perhaps that feeling back then was a kind of affection; a fifteen-year-old boy liking a ten-year-old girl, not daring to imagine any future. Because at that ti, he was blind, a blind person who couldn’t even see his own future clearly.
He dared not have any thoughts about her, as if it would be sacrilege.
But now, why could he watch Grace so calmly? Could it be that as he aged, those feelings had also disappeared?
