When Blake Winchester learned that Mabel Quinn was going to Falling City with Kyle Kinston, he said, "Falling City is the foundation of the Kinston Family, and their influence there is imnse. The Kinston Family, a family with a legacy spanning hundreds of years, has many mysterious aspects, one of which is their Ancestral Hall."
"Ancestral Hall?" Mabel Quinn and Katie both beca curious.
Blake, being a reporter, naturally knew more about this. He had even studied the Kinston Family at one point. "There’s an Ancestral Hall in the Kinston Family, but it’s strange. Not every Kinston has the privilege of having their morial tablet placed in the hall after death. It seems there’s a specific rule for it, and not every Kinston is allowed to enter the hall. So Kinstons never set foot in the hall their entire lives. Of course, for outsiders, the hall is even more of a forbidden place, so what exactly is in there remains quite mysterious."
Mabel asked curiously, "So, has no one else entered all these years?"
"That’s not it. If soone is recognized by the Kinston Family, like a partner, they can enter. As for others..." Blake shrugged, "Even if an outsider did break in, they probably wouldn’t co out."
Blake spoke vaguely, but Mabel understood the underlying aning.
"So, Mabel, Kyle hasn’t ntioned this Ancestral Hall to you?" Katie asked.
Mabel shook her head, "No."
Katie smiled, "Then you might get a chance to see this hall when you visit Falling City this ti." She added, "By the way, have you heard about Grace Yowell? Morningstar has announced a ban on Grace Yowell and issued a statent urging the entertainnt industry to eliminate actors with her conduct. Many big nas in the industry have supported this, even major figures outside the circle have praised the decision. I think Grace Yowell is finished; there’s no chance for her to bounce back."
Mabel had seen this online and Lilith even called her to chat about it. Morningstar is an influential corporation in the industry, backed by the Han Corporation, so naturally, many people responded.
As they were talking, Blake’s phone rang. After listening for a mont, he put his phone away and stood up urgently, "Sorry, I have a news story I need to leave for imdiately."
"No problem, go ahead with your work," Mabel replied. A journalist’s work is often like this, prone to sudden events.
When Blake pulled out his chair, he hesitated for a mont and said, "Soone from my corporation discovered that Grace Yowell was injured by soone and secretly admitted to the hospital a few days ago. I’m going to follow up on this."
After saying that, Blake left.
Mabel and Katie exchanged glances. Logically, Blake shouldn’t have ntioned this, but Mabel guessed it was because this matter involved Grace Yowell, and there had been a controversy between Grace and her before, so Blake decided to bring it up.
"Maybe even the heavens couldn’t stand it, so Grace Yowell faced retribution so quickly," Katie murmured. "She had been inciting her fans to cause trouble for you, and now her troubles have found her!"
Mabel pursed her lips. Was this a coincidence? Or... Grace Yowell, soone she once thought was a friend, had actually stabbed her in the back, and that stab had lasted for ten whole years.
