However, she wore only earrings and no other jewelry.
"Why aren’t you wearing the engagent ring?" Kyle Kinston held Mabel Quinn’s hand as he spoke; her fingers were bare, with nothing on them.
"Isn’t that ring for the wedding? We’re not married yet," Mabel Quinn replied with a smile. "Once we’re married, no matter what event we attend, I’ll wear it!"
"Alright then, after we’re married," he said, then took her hand and helped her into the car.
This year’s New Year’s gala, hosted by the governnt, was held at the largest opera house in J City. Many concerts and musicals have taken place here, but it was Mabel Quinn’s first ti visiting. Kyle Kinston’s seat was in the VIP box on the second floor, occupied by prominent business figures and so of their families, and naturally, those seated near Kyle Kinston were mainly business people who often collaborated with Kinston Group.

Because the news of Mr. Kinston’s engagent had spread, she was close to becoming the laughingstock of the ballet troupe.

Just as she was thinking about it, Evelyn’s eyes caught sight of Francine Howards passing by, and she imdiately had an idea. Smiling, she blocked Francine Howards’ path, "Miss Howards, look, Mr. Kinston is over there on the second floor, and it seems he’s brought a friend, haven’t you and Mr. Kinston been old friends from Falling City?
