"Hey, but I just ca out to buy a battery. If I return ho too late, my parents will worry." She hurriedly found an excuse.
"That’s simple." He directly took out his phone and then dialed her ho number.
Alice Conley was at a loss for words; she could almost foresee this kind of result.
Sure enough, after her mom answered the call, she very warmly agreed and even asked Dorian Howards to pass the phone to her.
Alice took the phone, and from the other end, her mother’s command ca, "Alice, it’s Dorian’s first ti at the Lantern Festival in J City. You must accompany him well. It’s okay if you co back late; your dad and I will go to bed first."
Alice was exasperated; her mom was completely bought over by Dorian!
In short, this phone call from her mom was to ensure that Dorian would have an enjoyable evening.

"But why would you do sothing like this?" She was still a bit puzzled, as it wasn’t like his usual character.
"Because Mabel is different for Kyle. Without Mabel, Kyle wouldn’t survive." He said, and he ant it literally.
But Alice had a different understanding, so she chuckled, "How is that possible? He’s doing just fine. I even saw him on the news during the military parade broadcast by the Television Station before, looking in high spirits. How could he not survive!"
Dorian didn’t explain further, only saying, "So people’s feelings are visible to others, but so may not see it. Besides, I don’t want Kyle to end up with the sa regrets as ."
Alice paused for a mont, then quickly changed the topic, "Hey, let’s look at the lanterns. I heard the city spent a lot of money on them this year!"
As she spoke, she ran toward the clusters of large lanterns ahead, and he followed behind her, watching her back, his heart filled with countless emotions.
This year, she can accompany him to see the Lantern Festival, but what about next year? The year after?
Does she know that every year, he wishes to reunite with her for a Lantern Festival? He wants to build a family with her and have children together.

Suddenly, a loud noise burst in the sky. Alice looked up to see fireworks in the sky. She rembered the news earlier ntioned that over a hundred sets of fireworks would be set off during this year’s festival.
Fireworks soared into the sky one after another, adding brilliant splendor to the originally dark night.
Alice stood in awe watching these fireworks, feeling they were so beautiful, and beside her, she heard Dorian’s voice gently yet firmly, "Alice, I love you."
She was stunned, suddenly turned back, and stared at him with wide eyes. The next mont, he was already kissing her lips, as if pouring all his feelings into the kiss, as if to make her understand just how much he loves her!
