"If Clover and I truly had a child, speaking of which, they would be about your age now." Edward Quinn murmured.
"Clover?" Mabel Quinn was startled for a mont, "Is she the one who resembles a bit?"
"Yes." He replied, "But I’ve never treated you as Clover’s replacent. Do you believe a person can love only one person for a lifeti?"
Mabel slightly pressed her lips together, then nodded, "I believe."
Edward smiled gently, yet his smile was sowhat bitter, "Once, I didn’t believe, but after I t Clover, I did. When you fall in love with soone, no one else can replace that person. How could there be a substitute? It’s just that sotis when I see you, it gives a feeling, as if Clover were still alive."
These words Edward had never spoken to anyone else, yet he said them to Mabel.
Not until the teacup was half-emptied did Edward stand up and say, "Alright, I’ll head back now. If you encounter any trouble, feel free to call . No need to worry about bothering . I’m your uncle, even if we’re not blood-related, I’m still your uncle!"
"Okay." Mabel responded, her eyes unknowingly filling with a light mist.
Sohow, she wasn’t soone who was usually sentintal, but recently, she often felt the urge to cry.
After Edward left, Mabel tidied up the teacups. Just as she was about to go out to the nearby supermarket to buy so food, suddenly, there was a knock at the door.
Did Uncle forget sothing? Mabel opened the door, but the face in front of her took her by surprise.

Mabel stared dumbfounded at the person before her, her mind montarily unable to process.
"Aren’t you going to invite in to sit down?" Kyle said coldly.
Reflexively, she moved aside and let him into the room, but then she rembered that he had said he didn’t want to see her anymore, and told her not to appear in front of him again.
But now, appearing before her like this, what did it an!
Before she could react, in the next mont, he slamd the door shut, then pressed her against the corner of the wall, "Tell , what’s going on between you and Edward Quinn?"
"That seems to have nothing to do with you." Mabel tried to push Kyle away, but he seed to completely confine her.
Her entire being was enveloped by his presence, and his head was lowered, his breath against her cheek, by her ear. If she just lifted her head slightly, it seed she would touch his face.
Irrelevant to him? But why, last night, after hearing what those two people said, was he so angry, even to the point of losing control? Why did he have the news erased from the internet? And why was he waiting for her in front of her residence?
Even he couldn’t explain so many whys, but just seeing her walking back with Edward Quinn, watching Edward gently brush her bangs, seeing Edward enter her residence, that jealousy and pain within him grew fiercely.
So unbearable, and it seed only she could ease that discomfort.
Kyle suddenly bent down and fiercely kissed Mabel’s lips.
"Mmm..." She wanted to evade, but his fingers tightly held her jaw, leaving her no way to avoid it.
