Francine Howards was trembling with anger, not expecting that Caleb, a re secretary, would dare to confront her like this. But she also knew that Caleb was telling the truth, and with Kyle Kinston’s temper, barging in like this might not give her any face at all.
"Fine!" Francine gritted her teeth, "Then go and report it, I have ’urgent business’ to see Kyle!" She deliberately emphasized the words "urgent business".
Caleb went in to report, and Kyle, upon hearing, didn’t even lift his eyelids and said, "Let her wait outside."
"Yes." Caleb responded.
When Francine heard this reply, she could hardly believe her ears, "Did Kyle really say that?"
"Yes, perhaps when Elder Kinston has ti, he’ll be willing to see you, Miss Howards." Caleb said.
Francine nearly bit into pieces, but she could only wait outside.
She waited for more than two hours until Kyle Kinston finally ca out of the office, heading to the eting room, and Francine finally saw Kyle.
"Kyle!" Francine stood up and called.
Kyle lazily looked at her and said, "What’s the matter?"
Francine took a deep breath, raised her chin, and said angrily, "What do you an by sending ten boxes of those pajamas?!" Early this morning, she received the things he sent, which initially delighted her, but when she opened the box, it was a fuchsia nightgown, and the style was identical to the one Mabel Quinn had worn before.
The sa nightgown, Kyle had directly sent her ten pieces at once. This did not please her at all, but only felt like a naked slap in the face.

She paused, didn’t continue speaking; his parents’ matter was a taboo for him and there were others around now, obviously not suitable to speak about. Francine had this bit of awareness.
"Have you said enough?" Kyle said coldly, his phoenix eyes icy and sinister.
Francine’s spine felt a faint chill, and as Kyle slowly walked up to her, the closer they got, the more Francine could feel the sharp aura he emitted, as if she were completely engulfed by it.
"Even if I have broken up with her, it doesn’t an anyone can insult her casually. Francine Howards, you better rember this clearly." He warned in a voice only the two of them could hear.
The sumptuous voice like the night breeze carried no warmth, silently telling her that he had no feelings for her either.
Francine gritted her teeth hard, then suddenly let out a light laugh, "You’re willing to do these things for Mabel Quinn, but do you know what Mabel is doing? She and Daniel Harris went to a tavern to open a room, and you still want to defend her?"
Instantly, Kyle’s face turned extrely ugly, while Francine felt a sense of satisfaction, "Kyle, a woman like that isn’t worth another minute of your effort. While you are warning for her, she’s having fun with Daniel, in bed together..."
