"Worthy?" Kyle Kinston chuckled lightly. In this city, J-City, there really weren’t many people who dared to say the word "worthy" in front of him.
"What’s so funny?" the tomboyish girl said, "Our Jinny is obviously more worthy of you. So many people chase after Jinny, and she’d never been interested before."
As for the girl nad Jinny, her face was completely flushed, yet her big eyes still gazed at Kyle Kinston, carrying a tender, affectionate look. "You... don’t listen to my friend’s nonsense. I... I just wanted to get to know you. If possible, could you tell your phone number?"
Kyle Kinston just glanced noncommittally at the two girls, then looked at Mabel Quinn, "Do you think I should give my phone number to others?" It was as if he were seriously asking her, as if he would do exactly what she suggested.
The tomboyish girl looked anxious, "Why are you asking her? She definitely doesn’t want you to et prettier girls. She’s the type who doesn’t look that great herself, so she’d keep you away from other attractive girls." She said this while glaring at Mabel Quinn, as if Mabel were the one blocking her friend’s love life.
Mabel Quinn, being glared at, furrowed her brows and glared right back. Despite the dulling effect of the alcohol on her brain, she could still sense the other’s disdain toward her.
"Don’t give it." She shook her head straightforwardly, indicating Kyle shouldn’t give his phone number away.
A faint smile appeared on Kyle Kinston’s lips, while the two girls beca anxious. Jinny, at this point, couldn’t care less about putting on a shy act and said to Mabel Quinn, "I just want to get to know your friend. If you two aren’t dating, then why not let him et other people?"
"Exactly, you really are making trouble for no reason!" the tomboyish girl said crossly, not noticing at all that Kyle Kinston, standing to the side, had a flash of coldness in his eyes upon hearing this.
Mabel Quinn glared back at the girl, "If I’m an ugly person, then how good-looking are you?" Although she never thought of herself as a stunning beauty, she’d never considered herself ugly. When she was little, quite a few neighbors praised her for being cute and pretty.
The girl froze, because by any honest asure, Mabel Quinn wasn’t bad looking. In fact, she could even be called pretty, especially since won had an eye for these things. She could see at a glance that the girl in front of her was not wearing makeup, flaunting her natural face.
"I... I ant that you’re not as good-looking as Jinny. Compared to you, Jinny is a better match for this gentleman!" the tomboyish girl retorted.
Mabel Quinn shifted her gaze to Jinny, "So if, next ti, an even more beautiful woman than your friend appears, should your friend step down and let soone else have her chance?"
"You—" The other girl was fuming, yet montarily at a loss for words.
Mabel Quinn pointed a finger at Kyle Kinston, "Besides, no matter how pretty your friend is, she’s not... hic... he’s better looking, isn’t he? If looks decide everything, then why would he look for a girlfriend less attractive than himself?"
Normally, Mabel Quinn wouldn’t have said sothing like this, but now she was a bit drunk, and naturally, things she wouldn’t usually dare to do, she now dared.
In the gaze of everyone present, Mabel Quinn’s hand reached out and touched Kyle Kinston’s face.
