He squinted his eyes, staring at her intently, while she looked straight into his eyes, not avoiding his gaze, as if to tell him that her feelings were like that, she would do what she said, and now she had no such feelings for him as before.
His chest surged with discomfort, making him feel completely irritated, as if no matter what way he tried, she would never fall in love with him.
But back then, she clearly loved him!
Suddenly, there was a loud banging on the door, breaking the tense atmosphere within the room.
Mabel Quinn turned and walked to the door, asking, "Who is it?"

Mabel was taken aback, then looked out through the peephole and saw several fierce-looking people standing outside, and to her surprise, she even saw Alessia Quinn among them.
Imdiately thinking about it, she guessed Alessia’s intentions. Bringing so many people was likely to cause trouble for her.
"Alessia Quinn, if you don’t take these people back, I’ll call the police." Mabel said.
Alessia was stunned, then saw the peephole on the door, instantly understanding, and without pretending anymore, started cursing, "Mabel Quinn, you shaless bastard, you have no blood relations with the Quinn Family, and yet you got Granny Taylor’s possessions. I’m here to deal with you today. If you won’t open the door? Fine, I don’t believe I can’t get in!" Alessia cursed while instructing the thugs she brought, "Break it, smash the lock, and break the door in!"
Mabel was sowhat surprised that Alessia dared to act like a bandit in broad daylight. Seeing that the other side had more people, it wasn’t suitable to confront them head-on, so she took out her phone and quickly dialed 110 to call the police. But just as she pressed the number, she saw Kyle Kinston already walking toward the door.
"What are you doing?" she hurriedly stopped him.
He smiled faintly, "Are we really going to wait for them to smash the door?"

Before she could finish her sentence, he had already raised his hand and opened the door, causing the people outside who were about to smash it to pause and look at Kyle Kinston.

Among them, soone pulled out a dagger, and seeing things going awry, tried to take Mabel hostage as a bargaining chip. However, before he could reach Mabel, he had a knife pressed against his neck. Instantly, he shivered and stopped in his tracks, "No... don’t kill ..."
The others who hadn’t fallen yet saw Kyle holding a military knife so decisively against soone’s neck, and their faces turned ugly, not daring to take another step forward.
