Thus, Mabel Quinn began to busy herself in the kitchen, while Edward Quinn, Kyle Kinston, and Daniel Harris sat around the small square table, three people, three pairs of eyes appraising each other.

Daniel Harris smiled and said, looking sincerely at Edward Quinn, "I just want to be there for Mabel, to be with her for the rest of my life, to make up for everything I’ve missed. I’ve already missed so much with Mabel, I don’t want to miss any more."
Kyle Kinston responded indifferently, "Daniel Harris, you’ll never be with Mabel in this life." Because the one who would be with her would only be him!
Daniel Harris’s expression remained unchanged as he turned to look at Kyle Kinston. "Mr. Kinston, whatever happens between Mabel and isn’t for you to decide. Don’t forget, you and Mabel have already broken up; you have nothing to do with her now."

Do you know how much happened between Mabel and while you were away in the States?"
Daniel Harris’s expression suddenly changed.
When Mabel Quinn ca out with a plate of cold dishes, she witnessed this scene and felt like she was about to turn to stone. At this mont, she thought the posture between Kyle Kinston and Daniel Harris seed inexplicably ambiguous!
As for Edward Quinn, he calmly continued sipping his tea as if he hadn’t noticed the tension at all.

"No, no," she quickly replied, "Everything’s almost done. Once it’s cooked, I’ll bring it out. You all can keep sitting for a while. If you’re hungry, you can start with so cold dishes."
Hearing her say that, Daniel Harris didn’t continue the conversation.
Mabel Quinn returned to the kitchen, and only then did Edward Quinn speak again, "I won’t object if you want to be with Mabel, but it all depends on her willingness. Whoever she wants to be with is her own choice. But let say this upfront, if you’re only playing around with her, don’t bother taking another step. Both Daniel Harris and Kyle Kinston’s expressions hardened. Edward Quinn’s words were clearly a statent of the Quinn Family’s stance on the matter.
