Mabel suddenly raised her hand and forcefully pushed Kyle away. With a flushed face, she covered the back of her hand and glared at him.
"You... you shouldn’t do this!" she exclaid.
"Is it not allowed?" he retorted, "Afraid soone might see us?"
"Didn’t you leave? Why did you co back?" she diverted the awkward topic.
He fell silent instead, and after a long pause, he said, "I wanted to see you." So after driving away, he turned back, yet the closer he got to her apartnt complex, an inexplicable fear crept over him.
Daniel said sothing right, he was indeed afraid, he actually wasn’t confident at all, fearing that she once loved him but might not love him anymore.
And at this mont, only she could soothe this fear of his.
"Mabel, don’t make wait too long, okay?" Under the moonlight, he held her and softly pleaded.
And she, in her confusion, could only feel her heartbeat growing stronger and stronger...

The next morning, when Mabel arrived at the studio, she heard Indigo Quigley’s voice carrying a tone of arrogance and sarcasm, "I was wondering why you’ve been throwing up these days. Turns out you’re pregnant, huh? Gosh, Alice Conley, you’re pregnant out of wedlock, right? Usually, you look so proper; I didn’t expect you to be so indiscreet!"
Upon hearing this, Mabel frowned and saw Indigo flaunting Alice’s dical record card with a domineering deanor, while Alice was glaring at her furiously.
These days, thanks to Indigo’s "promotion" at the office, everyone already knew that Alice and Dorian Howards had fallen out, and now this scene was unfolding.
Alice was truly trembling with anger, not expecting Indigo would be so shaless as to rummage through her bag while she was in the restroom.

Alice took out her phone and started dialing a number. Seeing this, Indigo panicked and said, "I didn’t steal anything. This dical record card just fell on the ground, and I rely picked it up."
"Ha, nice story. Why not let the police co and see if your fingerprints are on this bag? Then we’ll know if it ’fell’ or you picked it out yourself," Mabel coldly stated.
Indigo’s face stiffened, and seeing Alice’s phone was connected, she attempted to snatch it away, but Alice wasn’t about to give in, and Mabel, afraid Indigo might hurt her friend, also blocked her. For a mont, the three won were in a chaotic scuffle.
Fortunately, Kwan stepped in and said, "All right, all right, this ti Indigo was wrong. Indigo, apologize to Alice. Even if the dical record card fell out, you shouldn’t just go through others’ dical records. And rember, the office is only for work, not for discussing anything else!"
Seeing that Kwan had spoken, Indigo could only follow his words and apologized to Alice, saying, "Sorry, Alice, I didn’t an to." After all, apologizing was better than really going to the police station.
Alice also gave Kwan so face and pressed the call button, snatching the dical record card back from Indigo’s hand.
