Dorian Howards frowned, looking at the photo that had fallen to the ground from Alice Conley’s hand. He bent down to pick it up, but when he saw it was a photo of a handso man, his expression changed abruptly.
"Oh, my Lucas Finley!" Alice Conley exclaid suddenly, realizing she had accidentally dropped the signed photo of Lucas Finley. She quickly tried to take the photo back from Dorian Howards, wanting to check if it was damaged or dirty.
But Dorian Howards looked up at Alice Conley and said, "Your Lucas Finley? What is this man to you? Is he your new date?"
Alice Conley felt like spitting blood out at this wild assumption. How could she even date Lucas Finley?
"He’s a celebrity, and this is a signed photo I got with great difficulty!" she said, pulling the photo out of his hands, carefully inspecting it like a precious treasure to see if it was damaged.
Dorian Howards was speechless with anger. It was just a celebrity photo, but she treated it like such a treasure. When would she ever treat his photos like that?
"You can have as many celebrity photos as you want later. Our wedding matters, do you want to discuss it here, or go sowhere else?" Dorian Howards said.
Alice Conley thought for a mont and then said to Mabel Quinn, "Mabel, I’ll head out first then."
"Okay." Mabel Quinn nodded, hoping that maybe there could really be a turnaround between Alice and Dorian.
anwhile, not far away, Indigo Quigley watched the scene unfolding in front of her, gnashing her teeth with hatred. She had found out that Mabel Quinn and the others would co to this studio today, so she ca specifically to gather so intel on the competition, but she hadn’t expected to see Dorian Howards coming to find Alice Conley, and the two even getting into a car together.
Alice Conley was supposed to be abandoned by Dorian Howards, wasn’t she? Why... why was Dorian Howards looking for her again?
Could it be that Alice Conley could really make a coback?
Thinking about Dorian Howards’ previous attitude towards her, Indigo Quigley bit her teeth in anger, walked to her car, but suddenly stopped in her tracks. By her car stood a man she recognized, a reporter.
"Who are you? What are you doing by my car?" Indigo Quigley forced herself to remain calm, pretending not to know the man.
The man chuckled, "Miss Quigley, you really are forgetful. So quickly you don’t rember ? You were the one who leaked the news about Mabel Quinn and Edward Quinn to !"
Indigo Quigley was shocked and imdiately realized that even though she made the call anonymously, the man had found out who she was.
"What do you want?" she asked.
"Of course, I hope Miss Quigley will also pay a little price," Finn laughed, but there was sothing sleazy about his smile, which gave Indigo Quigley goosebumps, "I’m tired, why don’t we go get a room at a nearby tavern and talk things over? I suffered a lot because of that report, the Quinn Family even sued , demanded compensation, and I was locked up for several months, losing my job. What do you think will happen to you if people find out you were the mastermind behind that report?"
Indigo Quigley’s face turned white. If this matter was indeed exposed by this man, it would definitely be a huge problem for her.
