Mabel Quinn hadn’t been back to the Apartnt Complex in quite a few days. Upon returning, she started with a big cleaning session of the small apartnt, which took quite a while. When she went downstairs to throw out so garbage and ca back, she saw him sitting on her apartnt’s sofa, playing with his phone.
"How... did you get in?" she asked awkwardly, inexplicably feeling a bit guilty. God knows why she felt guilty. If anyone should feel guilty, it should be him, entering without the owner’s permission.
"I used the key to open the door," he replied.
Only then did she suddenly rember that because he had lived there for a while, she had given him a spare key to the room.
She walked closer to him to realize that the phone screen currently displayed the ssage she sent him.
"The ssage was well written," he said.
"..." Why did she feel that his praise was so strange?

Mabel Quinn broke out in a cold sweat.
The next mont, he extended his arm to pull her onto his lap, "Why move out? There are servants in the mansion, the place is bigger than here, you can have anything you want. Isn’t that good?"
Covered by his presence, she murmured, "It is quite nice, but living there by myself... I always feel awkward, especially when you’re not there. It’s like... um, like I chased you out and took over your place."
"No one would think that much, even if I gave you the entire mansion." he said.
"No one would actually say that." Indeed, no one would dare say that, but... "I can’t help but think like that myself. Besides, if you’re not there, the place feels too lonely. The bigger the house, the lonelier it feels. So, this small apartnt feels more comfortable to ."
"So, you miss , right?" he whispered.
"Yeah." she admitted honestly.
"Then as long as I’m willing to return to the mansion, you’d also be willing to go back?" he asked again.
"Of course." she replied quickly, then looked at him with expectant eyes, "So are you willing to go back to the mansion?"
"Are you willing to stop bringing up the Conley Family?" he said, "As long as you are willing, I can imdiately go back to the mansion now."
Mabel Quinn fell silent, and as she remained silent, his face gradually turned grim, "So, you moved out of my mansion simply to force my hand, right? Trying to use your importance to make agree to Conley Alice’s father’s request?"
"No." she said, "I didn’t an it that way! I just..." just wanted to use this thod to make him go back to living in the mansion.
"Just what? Just that even now, you still want to argue with over a person who doesn’t matter?" he said.
