This is the information Eve has always wanted to know.
After the World Tree fell, the Elf Clan still had eight Demigod Envoys.
Relying on the power of these Demigod Envoys, the Elves were even able to hold on in the Elf Forest for a while.
However, after Eve’s revival, not a single loyal Demigod remained.
Eve vaguely knew that over the past few hundred years, so Elf Demigods had perished at the hands of Uller’s Divine Envoy, but the Half-Beast clan has always been terrible at record-keeping, and their murals all look the sa, so it was unclear who it was.
The Elf Clan’s records on the whereabouts of the Demigods were also poorly docunted, clearly deliberately erased.
Of course, Eve now knows that this was likely done intentionally by the surviving Elf Demigods.
They had embarked on a different path.
That was the path to revive the Mother Goddess.
Listening to Eve’s words, a slight gloom flickered in Aurora’s eyes.
She said:
"Mother Goddess."
"After you fell into eternal sleep, the Civilization Fla Uerk and the Natural Saint Anemi also fell in the ensuing Demigod Wars."
"Moonlight Queen Diana, in the end, decided to remain in the Segis World with the Dark Walker Oros to find a way to revive the Mother Goddess."
"Judgent Sword Donar and Dark Night Shadow Eris chose to lead so of the clan mbers to other planes before the Plane Channel completely closed, to preserve the fire of the Elf Clan."
"As for Uria and , you already know."
As Aurora recounted, Eve was moved, and one after another figure erged in her mind.
They were the eight Demigods of the Elf Clan.
In order of ranking, they were:
Moonlight Queen Diana, the Guardian of the Moonlight Tribe and the Elf Royal Court.
Dawn Star Aurora, Guardian of the Frost Tribe.
Natural Saint Anemi, Guardian of the Gale Tribe.
Judgent Sword Donar, Guardian of the Thunderbolt Tribe.
Son of the Earth Uria, Guardian of the Yan Sha Tribe.
Dark Night Shadow Eris, Guardian of the Shadow Tribe.
Civilization Fla Uerk, Guardian of the Fla Tribe.
Dark Walker Oros, Guardian of the Half-Elf.
Among them, Moonlight Queen Diana was also the first Queen of the Elf Kingdom, greatly respected by the other eight Demigods, frequently referred to as Your Majesty, she was also the leader of the eight Elf Demigods.
Dawn Star Aurora and Natural Saint Anemi were the Elf Demigods personally endowed with power by the World Tree after the Moonlight Queen, greatly favored.
The remaining Elf Demigods, except for Oros who received Divine Favor, all grew to the level of or nearly to the level of Demigods themselves, only to be elevated to Demigods or their powers were enhanced by the World Tree later on.
After listening to Aurora’s words, Eve nodded slightly.
This was the first ti she had learned the destiny of the Elf Demigods, and also the first ti she had discovered the fate of the Elf Clan.
And the result, left her sighing sadly.
What could be confird was that at least four of the eight Demigods had thoroughly fallen.
Besides the returning Aurora, only Donar and Eris, who had left the Segis World, remained, along with the whereabouts unknown Diana.
When Eve revived, the only believers were Samir and Alice.
This indicated that the remaining Demigods had either fallen or, like Aurora and Uria, entered places that could isolate the faith network and True God’s sight.
Now, the revival of the Elf Clan is almost universally known across the Segis Universe, yet they still have not returned, which was not a good sign.
They were very likely already fallen.
Even if they hadn’t fallen, they likely encountered monuntal trouble.
This included the believers they had taken away.
"Aurora, do you know which plane Donar and Eris went to?"
Eve asked.
Even though the Segis Universe seems like a miniature toy compared to the Blue Star Universe, the number of planes is still remarkably vast.
However, like the barren planets of the Blue Star Universe, most are unfit for life.
Even so, the Segis Universe has many planes suitable for life, of which more than a thousand are suitable for Elven existence, rich with life’s essence and natural aura.
Of course, since they were ant to escape, Eve did not think that the two Elf Demigods would simply choose a plane suitable for Elves.
Their choice would have been surely secluded enough.
"Sorry, Your Eminence the Goddess, to prevent tracking by enemies, we did not know each other’s ultimate destination, not even for the plan of your revival, we were unaware of each other’s actions."
"Uria and I were only an exception, happening to both choose to go to that Abyss Plane."
Aurora replied.
Eve nodded gently, feeling a bit disappointed in her heart.
However, she quickly ca up with a new idea:
Perhaps Hela could be asked to investigate the Elf Souls in the Netherworld!
Souls without a Divine Country to go to usually return to the Netherworld after death.
By investigating the situation of the Elf Souls in the Netherworld, perhaps the whereabouts of the two Elf Demigods could be inferred, and if fate is favorable, even the elusive Diana might be found.
Rather than their fall, Eve hoped they were still alive.
"I understand, I will find a way to locate them."
Eve said.
After speaking, she paused contemplatively, and asked the question she most wanted to ask:
"Aurora, do you know why the gods betrayed and besieged the World Tree a thousand years ago?"
Why did the gods besiege the World Tree?
Eve had asked many mythical existences this question, even Azazel, she had asked once later on.
And the answers she received were all more or less similar.
That is, the gods feared the growth of the World Tree would raise the energy level of the plane, thus threatening all the True Gods of Faith.
However, Eve always felt there was sothing wrong with this explanation.
To be sure, she still wanted to hear it once more from Aurora.
"Your Eminence, the Goddess."
Aurora respectfully replied:
"I know that the gods claid to be worried that your growth would elevate the energy level of the Segis World, thereby causing them to lose control over their believers."
"But... that’s not the key, or rather, that is not the main reason, it was rely a pretense."
She gritted her teeth and said:
"The real reason is that you were at a crucial mont of ascending to greater divine power, and the True Gods of Faith... did not want to see your ascension."
The predecessor was actually at the threshold of ascension to greater divine power a thousand years ago?
Eve was taken aback.
She had speculated this before, but without evidence, it was just idle conjecture.
Unexpectedly, it turned out to be true.
Aurora had not finished speaking.
Her expression beca more and more wrathful:
"They... no, the Eternal Lord wanted to steal the key to your greatness, so they allied with other Human True Gods against you."
"You conveyed to a few words before your ascension..."

"You also ntioned that the ’world’ is far bigger than we could imagine, and after attaining greatness, you would take us to see the bigger ’world’."
"And it was at that ti that the True Gods of Faith betrayed..."
"Mother Goddess..."
"The Eternal Lord’s ambitions were imnse, from the beginning their objective was never simply to prevent your influence on the plane to maintain control over the believers."
"They sought to replace you, to beco the one and only Great."
"They aid to beco another Neo, to beco the true master of the Segis Universe."
