Chapter 1076: Chapter 729: Hell’s Seven Lords’ Plot
The boundless darkness shrouded the sky, deep and silent.
Occasionally, silvery white lightning tore through the firmant, andering like a venomous snake, piercing the thick clouds and casting a few ghastly pale electric lights.
The electric light illuminated the towering and profound castle below, making the fierce and terrifying demon statues on the castle appear vividly animated, their scarlet eyes seemingly alive under the lightning.
This is a black castle perched atop the mountain peak.
The spires soared high, piercing the stormy sea of clouds, as if they reached the heavens.
And at the top of the tower resembling Gothic spires, with dark red flas lit, in a hall adorned with grotesque demon statues, a tall figure clad in shiny black, sinister armor, wearing a mask adorned with spikes, sat upon the throne.
Two dark red flas lit up on his faceplate; they were his pair of eyes.
His presence was ancient and vast, like an endless abyss, instilling fear in everyone who faced him.
He tapped the armrest of the throne, the flas in his eye sockets flickering continuously, looking toward the several other vast presences sitting around the demonic long table before him.
Finally, his gaze fixated on a monster draped in blue-black scale armor, crowned, with the body of a human and the head of an octopus.
The majestic voice of the tall figure resonated in the hall:
“Leviathan, you destroyed the space channel we painstakingly prepared, I need an explanation.”
Upon hearing the tall figure’s words, Leviathan glanced his way with a very calm gaze:
“Helair, the Life Goddess of the Segis World has already discovered that plane channel.”
“If the channel is not destroyed in ti, I’m worried it will expose our plan…”
Helair…
This armored, tall figure turned out to be the leader of Hell’s Seven Lords, the First Demon God overseeing the Seventh Layer of Hell, Helair!
He is the strongest among all in the Abyss Myth, having reached the pinnacle of powerful divine might, master of arrogance, fear, and evil…
Apart from the other Hell Demon Gods, no Abyss Myth dares act presumptuously before him.
“Hmph, Leviathan, if you want to save your strength just say so, why make excuses! Who in the entire abyss doesn’t know you’re foolishly imitating the faith gods’ way of spreading belief, even attempting to turn demons into believers… it’s simply ridiculous!”
An authoritative voice ca over, like a lit powder keg.
It was a demon with a snake-head and human body, bearing three pairs of massive black bat wings, with a long serpent tail behind.
This was the Second Demon God Samael, whose avatar was obliterated by Eve, one of the three imnsely powerful beings among Hell’s Seven Lords, second only to the First Demon God Helair and the Fifth Demon God Leviathan.
Leviathan shot him a glance and retorted with a cold laugh:
“Samael, you, a Hell Demon God directly beaten back into the abyss by a weak divine power, are not qualified to speak to .”
“You!”
Samael erupted in anger.
“Enough!”
Helair’s voice bood.
A towering pressure spread out, and a trace of imperceptible dread flickered in the eyes of the other two Demon Gods.
They all snorted, falling silent.
And beside them, three other terrifying presences cast indifferent, mocking, or intrigued glances.
Those were the other three Hell Demon Gods.
Respectively, the Third Demon God Mammon, master of the Fifth Layer of Hell, the Fourth Demon God Belial, master of the Fourth Layer of Hell, and the Sixth Demon God Belusabab, master of the Second Layer of Hell.
Their power, though inferior to the three strong divine beings, had also reached the peak of dium divine power.
And beside the few Hell Demon Gods, there was a solitary empty seat.
That belonged to the Seventh Demon God Azazel.
Seeing the two Hell Demon Gods cease their bickering, Helair snorted coldly.
He cast his gaze around, finally resting on Leviathan:
“Leviathan, continue.”
Leviathan glanced at him, speaking expressionlessly:
“I have reason to believe that the Life Goddess already knows our impending large-scale attack on the Segis World, and not only that, she very likely already knows we’ve controlled a plane channel that allows myths to enter and exit.”
“That’s why I destroyed the channel at the first opportunity.”
“Everyone, your armies are moving too slowly, and the Abyss Myths have been gathered too slowly.”
“The Life Goddess is strong, and the Abyss Myths near the channel are fundantally not her match, and that Silent Annihilation Wilderness has only subrged into the abyss for fifteen hundred Segis years, after all, with not many demons either…”
“If the Life Goddess controls the plane channel, it will be troubleso, as I believe you all have heard of her Chosen One Army.”
The Segis Year ans one year in the Segis World.
This is the standard tikeeping of the Segis Universe.
In the abyss, ti and space are distorted.
Except for the ti flow of the Seventh Layer of Hell being consistent with the upper planes, the ti flow of the descending planes will be erratic before completely subrging into the abyss, either accelerating or decelerating, stopping only when rging with the abyss.
The symbol of completely rging with the abyss is that in any part of the plane, no starry sky can be seen.
Thus, when tikeeping in the abyss, the Demon Gods also tend to use the Segis World calendar.
Hearing Leviathan ntion the Life Goddess’s Chosen Ones, a few of the six Demon Gods noticeably sharpened their gazes.
And Samael sneered, saying:
