"Magic Electric Stone? What’s that?"
Li Mu asked curiously.
Their group had already returned from the north, and with them, ca this stone that could electrocute Demacia.
Not just this one.
After players dug deeper, they discovered many buried underground and had already brought a cartload back.
Now they’re all lying in the blacksmith’s shop.
"This is a rather precious magic material! Or rather... a mutated Demon Crystal!"
Carlos said excitedly.
As he spoke, he took out a complex instrunt, connected it to the stone, and the players were amazed to see, streaks of lightning appearing at the interface of the device, with the needle asuring magic power concentration spinning rapidly.
"Magic Electric Stone is a special mineral deposit containing abundant thunder attribute magic power, um... perhaps you haven’t heard of the thunder attribute, it’s a mutated attribute produced by a certain ratio of fire elent and wind elent, with imnse power!"
"Unlike ordinary Magic Stone, Magic Electric Stone can actively absorb dissipated fire elent magic power and wind elent magic power, as well as other energies; hence, places with many Magic Electric Stones often have relatively lower temperatures."
Upon hearing this, Li Mu suddenly understood.
Now, he finally understood why the temperature in the Ice Sealed Valley is low despite its altitude not being high.
And Carlos continued to educate the players:
"Magic Electric Stone is very special; although it belongs to the category of Magic Crystal Stone, due to its magic absorption characteristic, it’s generally hard to utilize the magic power contained within."
"However, those who excel at thunder attribute magic can do it, and so can thunder attribute Demon Beasts!"
"Therefore, places with many Magic Electric Stones often also attract many thunder attribute Demon Beasts!"
Saying this, Carlos looked up expectantly at Li Mu and others:
"Sir Li Mu, from where did you find these Magic Electric Stones? You even found so many? Could it be... could it be you’ve discovered the Ice Sealed Valley?"
Li Mu was slightly taken aback and nodded:
"Yes, we’ve found it already."
"Just as I thought!"
Carlos displayed a ’just as expected’ look and continued:
"In the records that have been passed down in my family, only the Ice Sealed Valley contains rich veins of Magic Electric Stone!"
Saying this, he looked at the players again, asking excitedly:
"Do you know, what’s the most magical aspect of Magic Electric Stone?"
The players looked at each other and asked:
"What is it?"
"Heh."
Carlos did not answer directly but instead put on gloves, took out a smaller Magic Electric Stone, and muttered incantations.
Under the surprised gazes of Li Mu and others, they saw streaks of lightning burst forth from the Old Elf, quickly enveloping the Magic Electric Stone, soon the glow of the entire stone dimd.
"Sir Li Mu, touch it."
Carlos withdrew the lightning and handed the stone over.
Li Mu was startled.
Looking at the Old Elf’s "Try it, nothing will happen" expression, he hesitated for a mont and gently touched it.
"Huh? No electricity?"
He was sowhat surprised.
"Heh..."
Carlos chuckled, took the stone again, and muttered incantations.
This ti, a swirling fla appeared in his hand, covering the Magic Electric Stone.
Monts later, Carlos dispersed the fla magic and handed it back to Li Mu:
"Try it again."
Li Mu touched it and was instantly shocked back.
"Ah, this..."
The players’ gazes were filled with wonder.
Carlos smiled slightly and explained:
"The most magical aspect of Magic Electric Stone is that even if its internal thunder attribute magic power is depleted, it can gradually convert fire elent magic power and wind elent magic power into thunder attribute magic power stored within by constantly absorbing them."
"In other words, as long as it’s exposed to air, the magic power it loses internally can slowly be replenished over ti."
After hearing Carlos’s words, the players widened their eyes and their gazes towards Magic Electric Stone completely changed.
As for Demacia, who had just resurrected not long ago, he slapped his forehead:
"Damn! Isn’t it just a magic stone version of a self-charging battery!?"
