The radiance faded, and Diana found herself in a grand and magnificent temple.
This temple was very similar to the Pantheon in her mory, but there were many more floral patterns and designs in the adornnt, and through the gaps of the temple’s columns, one could see the starry sky.
As a demigod who used to frequent the Divine Country of the Mother Goddess, Diana was not unfamiliar with the star-studded sky; it was probably the manifestation of the light of faith...
However, the color of these stars was different from what Diana rembered. She recalled that thousands of years ago, the light of faith in the Divine Country was green, but now it was interwoven with gold and blue.
Among them, gold dominated the majority, and from it, Diana sensed a familiar power. Though the color was different, she recognized it; it should be the manifestation of the light of faith.
However, the blue seed very mysterious.
Their light overall was brighter and gave Diana a sense of depth and unfamiliarity.
Even though there were far fewer of them than the golden starlight, with the eyes of a demigod, she could roughly discern at least several million...
This blue starlight... what exactly is it?
Could it be...
A faint suspicion arose in Diana’s heart.
"Those are the lights of the Chosen Ones, each representing a Chosen One active in the Segis Universe."
A ethereal and lodious voice provided the answer.
Upon hearing this familiar yet unfamiliar voice, Diana’s body couldn’t help but tremble slightly.
She could no longer contain the excitent in her heart and looked toward the source of the voice, only to see that at so point, Eve had already appeared before her.
"Mother Goddess!"
Diana choked up with emotion, kneeling before Eve, but soon she was lifted by a gentle force.
"Diana, how do you feel physically?"
Eve lightly raised her hand and asked with a smile.
"Good, I feel very good now. Being able to see the Mother Goddess again, Diana is truly happy!"
Diana nodded continuously in excitent as she spoke.
She looked nothing like a queen who once ruled a nation, but rather like a child who had returned ho after a long absence and was seeing a beloved parent.
Listening to Diana’s words, Eve nodded slightly, then her expression beca solemn:
"Diana, your divine soul is still sowhat weak. In the recent period, you should rest well in my Divine Country."
"Thank you, Mother Goddess!"
Diana expressed her gratitude with a gesture.
In the Divine Country, it was filled everywhere with the divine power of the True God and the gathered light of faith. For a demigod, it was indeed the most suitable place to recuperate.
Though Eve had already healed Diana’s injuries and divine soul with the power of life, ultimately it was external force. Without a certain degree of adaptation between Diana herself and it, she still needed to wait until she beca reacquainted with her strength and body to walk out of weakness.
"However... I see that your weak divine soul seems not to be caused by external force. Can you tell , what exactly happened?"
Eve looked at Diana and asked softly.
After hearing her inquiry, Diana’s expression suddenly beca serious.
The Moonlight Queen placed her right hand over her chest, and her palm gradually beca ethereal.
Then, under Eve’s surprised gaze, Diana "inserted" her right hand into her chest and took out a shimring object.
It was a shattered crystal, appearing like the remains of sothing broken. It was irregular in shape, with platinum light flowing continuously in the middle. If you looked carefully, you would find that the radiance resembled fine sand, accumulating at the bottom of the crystal. The entire crystal had nearly ninety percent occupied by radiance.
Upon seeing this object, Eve felt an inexplicable stir deep within her heart...
That feeling seed to originate from the mory of the World Tree she inherited.
"This is..."
Eve’s eyes narrowed slightly.
"Mother Goddess, this is a core fragnt from the destroyed Pantheon! At the end of the war, the Pantheon collapsed, and the core shattered. I used all my strength to snatch a piece."
Diana said respectfully.
It turned out to be a core fragnt of the Pantheon!
Eve subtly realized what the inexplicable stir was.
The predecessor was once the ruler of the Silver Era and also the master of the Pantheon, to whom the core of the Pantheon originally belonged.
Possessing the Pantheon’s core ant owning the Pantheon, which also ant becoming the Master of the Era.
However, during the godly war millennium ago, the Pantheon was shattered in the battles of the True Gods, and now the Pantheon was reconstructed by the Eternal Lord using the Pantheon’s fragnted remnants.
However, as an object crafted personally by King of Gods, Niou, the Pantheon’s grandeur and mystery were far beyond typical True Divine Artifacts and could never be thoroughly repaired by re divine power. Hence, the current Pantheon was often mockingly called the "Fake Pantheon" by many ancient gods.
These were the things Eve learned after ascending to mighty divine power and conversing with independent True Gods, especially ancient gods who visited her.
Now, Diana had brought with her a remnant core from the shattered Pantheon!
Now, Eve also understood why Diana’s divine soul was damaged.
Even in its broken state, the core of the Pantheon was an artifact of great divine power level. Placing it into one’s divine soul would exert trendous pressure on the body; such trendous power could be endured by a True God, but for a demigod, it was nearly impossible.
