The Dark City State Alliance has declared war on the Silent City State Alliance!
However, there has been a loss of communication with Death God Hela...
Upon hearing this news from Demon Wolf Fenrir, Eve was taken aback for a mont, but quickly began to have so inklings.
"Fenrir, don’t be anxious. The rash decision of the Dark Alliance to start a war suggests there may have been so changes in the Netherworld. It’s very likely that Holder is the one truly in panic."
Eve said.
"The God of Darkness and Shadow?"
Fenrir was stunned.
"Of course, this undeclared war, for forces with different beliefs, should imply to you, as a Death God Envoy, its significance."
Eve continued.
Listening to his words, Fenrir gradually cald down.
Indeed, ever since the establishnt of the True God Contract, wars between different faiths have beco increasingly cautious.
Before a war, there must be an official announcent, or even a reason for declaring war, which must have a certain degree of legitimacy, sowhat similar to proclamations in the past.
This is the ga rule among the True Gods.
But an undeclared war breaks the rules, breaks the agreent.
In a world dominated by True Gods, this is a blatant trampling on their authority!
Such a thing, even a True God with great divine power would handle with caution, yet now, the Dark City State Alliance has done it!
A faith war initiated by believers is impossible to advance without the instruction or tacit approval of a True God. In other words, this is the action of the God of Darkness and Shadow.
But what exactly happened to make a True God willing to break the True God Contract?
It must be sothing detrintal to him! And sothing far more severe than breaking the contract!
Upon reaching this conclusion, a glimr appeared in Fenrir’s eyes.
He too had lost contact with his main god, and in his concern grew chaotic, but upon calming down, he quickly figured everything out.
"So... what is your intention?"
This demigod demon wolf harbored so conjectures, and his spirits were lifted.
Eve did not explain much further.
He rely nodded with a smile.
"Exactly, Hela Crown losing contact may also indicate so slight trouble, Fenrir, you lead the way, I need to make a trip to the Netherworld."
Eve added.
"You’re going to the Netherworld?"
Fenrir was slightly shocked.
"If my guesses are correct... this too is an agreent between Hela Crown and myself."
Eve replied with a smile.
Fenrir’s heart stirred slightly.
However, he did not say much more, but respectfully bowed to Eve:
"Thank you, rciful Life Goddess Crown."
And after he finished speaking, Fenrir thought for a mont and then bit his lip and said:
"Life Goddess Crown, then... the Silent Alliance?"
His expression was sowhat uneasy.
Eve understood the aning of the demon wolf. She glanced at the nearby Fenrir, and the Fairy King instantly grasped the intent.
"Lord Fenrir, you needn’t worry, I will imdiately arrange for the Chosen One to support your church."
He said.
"Thank you so much!"
Fenrir said gratefully.
Even though the resurgence of magic power greatly increased the strength of the Silent City State Alliance, it surely paled in comparison to the renowned Elf Chosen One.
Being able to secure Fenrir’s promise, Demon Wolf Fenrir finally sighed in relief.
And Fenrir swiftly took action, issuing tasks and summoning players.
For a ti, the entire Elf Forest, Dark Mountain Range, and Death Desert all beca active...
...
The Dark Territory, Blade City.
The current head of the city, Dwarf Breen stood on the black city wall, gazing at the tumultuous shadow army below, his expression grave.
It had been six years since the last war.
Ever since befriending the Elf Clan, the developnt of the Silent City State Alliance had been increasingly prosperous, as nurous surface goods poured into the underground, making the trade hub of Blade City thrive even more.
In contrast, the power of the Dark City State Alliance diminished greatly. Witch Demon King Pelonir lost the Divine Favor and was overthrown by a united effort of the Dark city states upon returning to his state, plunging the entire Dark City State Alliance into a five-year-long civil war.
Breen had initially believed that the whole Dark City State Alliance was leaderless, having utterly lost the power to threaten the Silent City State Alliance, yet unexpectedly, they mysteriously ended the civil war in less than two months, and declared an undeclared war on the entire Silent City State Alliance!
The war broke out too suddenly. The Silent Alliance had no ti to react and was struck hard by the Dark Alliance’s army. A massive number of frantic shadow monsters appeared in the Dark Alliance’s army, causing great casualties to the Silent Alliance...
Within less than two days, Shanatal, whose city’s defensive strength was inadequate, fell, leaving Blade City in an isolated and unsupported situation once again!
"Is there still no success from Lord Huo Xu in communicating with the crown?"
Taking his eyes off the tides of shadow army, Breen looked towards the accompanying Death Priest.
The Death Priest shook his head, his expression solemn:
"Chief Sir, there is still no word from Lord Huo Xu..."
Breen’s expression beca even graver.
"And the reinforcents, have you sought assistance from the Elf Forest? Is there any news from Death Holy City?"
He then looked to another direction, where a diplomat in charge of communication stood.
The diplomat’s face was sowhat pale:
"Chief Sir, the Dark Alliance has severed our communication with the Holy City... There are too many of them, their shadow monsters are too nurous..."
"What about magical communication? The magical communication the elves set up for us, the one called telephone."
"Sir, it’s all cut off... it’s all cut off... they must have a Legendary Mage on their side... All the magic devices for external communication are malfunctioning! Even our Teleportation Array is ineffective!"
