As Lily and the others led the way, they recounted various legends they knew to the players.
The players listened attentively, occasionally interjecting to ask for details about the myths.
For the players, there couldn’t be stories in the ga without value.
Especially since this ga was magical, many mythological tales should theoretically have actually happened.
For instance, they suspected that the stories Lily told might be related to the enemies they needed to deal with in their quest, or the direction they needed to take to find the shards of the Life Scepter.
However, the legends from the mouths of the young boys and girls were too vague and lacked substance.
Apart from being entertained and affirming in their hearts that the so-called Divine Race were actually the elves entering this half-plane and that the Creator God must be a true mythical existence, the players didn’t find anything more useful.
As for the shards of the Life Scepter, there was even less of a clue.
However, due to their limited perspective and narrow knowledge of mysteries, the players couldn’t learn more from the stories of Lily and the others, but Eve, who secretly observed and listened the entire ti, had so guesses:
"Creator God? That’s not a title thrown around lightly, it seems... this half-plane should have been artificially created."
"The World Tree’s legacy never ntioned this half-plane, and there’s no record in elven history either, aning this half-plane likely ca into being after the godly war a thousand years ago."
"*So, a mythical existence must have led so elves to establish this half-plane and retreated into it.*"
"*There are two versions of the legend, and it’s unclear which is true or false, yet the ’church’ version these humans ntioned sounds as if it’s preparations for the Divine Enthronent or the revival of a True God.*"
"The powers of nature and life? Isn’t that pointing to the World Tree? But... the Creator God absolutely couldn’t be the World Tree. After all, without the previous one truly falling, it’s impossible for to inherit her body and knowledge."
"*Or could it be that so being wants to use this opportunity to beco the new God of Nature and Life?*"
"*Not very likely, for the laws of life and nature can’t be comprehended by just anyone, and trying to comprehend them on one’s own is far less efficient than directly finding ways to inherit the related divine offices of the World Tree.*"
"*There’s another possibility...*"
"After all, these are human-borne myths passed down through mouths, and they are re mortals who don’t understand the powers of a True God."
"Maybe... the so-called powers of nature and life are just the function of that shard of the Life Scepter, and not the authority of this ’Creator God’ at all!"
"After all... even though that shard is less than one percent of the Life Scepter, it comprises the most essential part of the top, and as long as it’s used properly, even a mythological existence with non-nature and life-related divine offices can demonstrate so relevant laws’ effects."
"But then, who is this mythical being who opened and retreated into the half-plane with the shard of the Life Scepter and so elves?"
"It seems like she was in the sa faction as the elves and likely participated in the godly war a millennium ago..."
"Could it be a clansman of the previous one?"
*"But it doesn’t add up either."*
"The predecessor, though imnsely powerful, was not enthusiastic about fostering pantheons. Even though there were indeed so elves with demigod-level strength under her, none reached the level of a True God."
"And without reaching the level of a True God, it’s impossible to have the ability to create a half-plane."
"Not to ntion, the laws of this half-plane are quite complete. Even with a lower energy level, not just anyone can easily create it."
"Even for , creating such a half-plane in a short period might not be possible... unless I tear a piece of the continent off from the Segis Plane to form an independent existence, using an existing continent to cleverly create a half-plane. Alternatively, if I ascended to strong divine power, I could make it happen in a short ti."
"However, if soone dared to lay hands on the Segis Plane, they’d likely have been torn to shreds by the gods by now!"
*"It doesn’t make sense... I can’t figure it out..."*
Eve shook her head.
She was becoming increasingly curious about the secret of this half-plane.
However, the half-plane was not without its problems either.
Eve pondered and then looked at the sky of the half-plane through the players’ vision.
Gazing at the space fissures, resembling shattered glass, she thought:
"Undoubtedly, this half-plane... is heading towards its demise, even though it was only created a thousand years ago, there is a sense of decline, which defies the normal rule for half-planes."
"One should know, even the lowest-level half-plane has a lifeti calculated in millions of years."
"Of course, this is also why Hu Lu feels repressed."
"As a Druid, he is relatively sensitive to the energies of life and nature, being able to clearly perceive the decline of this half-plane."
"Besides, if I sensed correctly, ever since the players entered the half-plane, their life potential began to deplete rapidly..."
"In other words, the lifespan of their bodies is decreasing swiftly. If they stay in this half-plane, the thousand-year lifespan of the Elf Clan might dwindle to just two or three hundred years."
"This indirectly confirms the ’disappearance’ of the ’Divine Race’ ntioned by these humans; those elves might have truly perished."
"But where, then, did this ’disappeared’ life potential go? And what does it have to do with the unreasonable decline of the half-plane?"
"Could it be... the ’Creator God’ that’s asleep?"
"Is she amassing the strength to revive?"
"Creating this half-plane consud too much of her power, and to revive, she had no choice but to pillage the half-plane’s source in turn? Thus leading to the half-plane’s decline?"
"Very possible!"
"To achieve this, she must have a certain understanding of the laws of life and nature."
"Generally, a True God might not be capable of this, but with the shard of the Life Scepter, it’s not certain. Perhaps this ’Creator God’ is relying on the shard to absorb the half-plane’s source and the life potential of beings within!"
Eve had a few guesses in her heart.
The more she thought about it, the more she felt this could be the truth of the matter.
The only thing that puzzled her was who exactly this "Creator God" was.
"Whoever it is, the shard of the Life Scepter must be in her hands."
"Creating and hiding in this half-plane was undoubtedly for refuge."
*"But retreating aside, if we include the seizing of the life potential of both the half-plane and the creatures living within, it’s hard not to question her original intention in bringing the elves into the half-plane..."*
Thinking of this, Eve let out a soft sigh.
anwhile, after traveling for nearly three hours, the five players and the seven young boys and girls finally returned to what they called "Divine Grace Town."
