Heart of Withering!
This was the first True Divine Artifact Eve seized from Uller, the God of Winter and Hunting.
Although it was incomplete, it possessed extrely powerful sealing abilities and was perfectly compatible with Eve.
This True Divine Artifact, once eroded by Abyssal power, could seal any mythological being below dium divine power as long as it was provided with sufficient life force!
Historically, Uller was feared by countless True Gods below dium divine power because he wielded this True Divine Artifact.
And during the Millennium God War, it is said that so demigod-level subordinate gods of the previous World Tree fell rapidly in battle due to this True Divine Artifact...
Of course, after obtaining it, Eve also used it to seal strong enemies on several occasions.
Such as Uller’s Demigod Avatar, the weakened Despair Dragon Nidhogg, and the Seventh Demon God Azazel, who had not yet regained his strength...
And now, Eve brought it out once more.
This ti, her target was the demigod-level half-plane "Creator God"!
She intended to seal him successfully before he could desperately inflict fatal damage on the half-plane.
The life force needed to activate the Heart of Withering had long been injected by Eve, and at this mont, the True Divine Artifact necklace was already as crimson as blood.
The next second, Eve gently raised it.
"Pitiful Fallen, your future holds only sealing and death."
Her gaze swept over the "Creator God" surrounded by abyssal aura, and over those native residents corrupted into abyssal and demonic forms by His abyssal power, as she sighed softly.
*She didn’t know when this "Creator God" fell into the Abyss.*
*Perhaps it was before He descended onto this half-plane...*
*Or maybe, after He used the half-plane’s power to repel other envious mythological entities...*
But regardless of when he chose to fall, since he aligned with Abyssal power and beca an Evil God, it ant he beca the common enemy of True Gods.
The mind of an Evil God would be twisted, and judging from the "Creator God’s" actions, He was already warped by the Abyssal power.
Moreover, considering His yearning for life and Natural Laws, even without falling into the Abyss, Eve would not spare Him.
This was a matter of position.
In order to strengthen himself and seize divinity, this Demigod who once followed the predecessor not only claid to be the Creator God, erased the traces of the World Tree, but also directly acted against the predecessor’s Elf Believers...
Such actions were a complete betrayal for the previous World Tree.
*At this thought, Eve sighed lightly and raised her right hand.*
In her palm, the Heart of Withering suddenly transford!
The crimson necklace suddenly transford into a blood-red beam of light, shooting straight at the "Creator God"!
The players present felt an astonishingly intense aura emanating from the Goddess, and then light burst forth.
The red beam shot out like a rocket from the Goddess’s hand and hit the "Creator God" in an instant!
The scarlet light flashed across His body and quickly lded into His being.
The "Creator God’s" previous movents were montarily halted.
The next second, His entire body began to tremble uncontrollably...
Chains materialized on His skin, wrapping around Him repeatedly, disappearing as they wrapped, only to beco seals piercing His Divine Soul.
And the aura of the "Creator God" began to decline at a speed visible to the naked eye.
The seal had been successful.
*In truth, a True God using a True Divine Artifact to seal a re demigod-level mythological being was supposed to be an easy task.*
However, what surprised Eve was that as she controlled the Heart of Withering and watched it transform into a sealing form within the other’s body, she also sensed so of His emotions...
*It was rage.*
*Endless, boundless rage.*
However, this rage was not directed at Eve, but rather at the Heart of Withering.
*Eve could clearly perceive that after she began sealing the "Creator God" using the Heart of Withering, His aura beca completely chaotic...*
*It was an explosive, frenzied, hysterical anger.*
"Heart of Withering!"
He roared furiously.
His voice was full of hatred, anger, and unwillingness.
He began to struggle frantically, incessantly tearing at the chains on His body.
Yet, to no avail.
The seals ford by the Heart of Withering were by nature illusory, intended to act upon the divine spark (demigod as Divine Fire) and Divine Soul, inherently not entities that could be removed by brute force!
However, with the "Creator God’s" struggling, the hood of His Divine Robe, which originally concealed His appearance, was torn off.
And His visage was revealed to Eve and the many players.
A handso face, slightly pointed ears, silver hair, and those purple-red eyes flickering with madness, chaos, and rage...
This was a half-elf.
A half-elf demigod.
His features distorted, that once handso visage covered by a sinister expression and strange lines born from the erosion of Abyssal power...
Nonetheless, even so, Eve, through the inheritance of the World Tree, recognized His identity.
The result matched her conjecture:
The half-elf demigod—Oros.
"Oros..."
Seeing the "Creator God’s" visage, *Eve felt a complex mix of emotions.*
In the World Tree’s inheritance, although this half-elf demigod did not share so of the predecessor’s beliefs, he followed faithfully for thousands of years.
Yet, he ultimately betrayed and fell.
Now, with His power sealed, He rolled on the ground like a mindless monster.
In the sky above the city, only His incoherent, chaotic, and furious roars echoed constantly:
"Withering... Heart! Uller!"
"Blaspher die... Blaspher die!"
"Blaspher... die!"
...
*She struggled.*
*He howled.*
*Watching him roll like a mindless monster,* *Eve felt a sudden pang of sorrow.*
*For a mont, she lost interest in leveraging his presence to demonstrate her power before the players.*
"Enough, perish now and retain the last shred of dignity as a mythological being..."
Sighing lightly, she flickered and appeared in front of Oros.
Eve extended her hand again, placing it upon His body.
"You grew strong by drawing upon life’s potential, so now... let end it for you with 『Absorption』."
Murmuring softly, Eve unleashed her "Absorption" power, beginning to draw Oros’s divine power and Divine Soul Power.
Absorbing the divine power was naturally ant to strengthen herself.
While absorbing the Divine Soul Power was to explore His mories, much like when she killed Nidhogg.
*This was still a half-elf demigod.*
*Even though He went mad, He still retained many mories of the past.*
*For Eve, who did not inherit most of the predecessor’s mories, these millennia-old mories were quite valuable.*
Not to ntion, by probing His mories, Eve could also likely learn the secrets of this half-plane...
However, just as Eve used her divine power and started to absorb, Oros’s body trembled again.
In an instant, His struggling unexpectedly ceased.
Even His anger and unwilling emotions suddenly vanished.
His fierce expression softened into confusion, and those purple-red pupils gradually cleared...
Then, Eve saw a hint of clarity flash in His gaze.
Oros looked at her.
His gaze soon beca tinged with longing, blurred slightly.
That faintly affectionate look was akin to a child long separated from their mother, returning finally to her embrace...
Oros trembled as he reached out to Eve, as if trying to grasp sothing.
"Mother Goddess... Your Eminence..."
A weak call ca from His lips.
*Hearing His call, Eve was slightly taken aback.*
She stopped her absorption.
And in the next second, she saw Oros smile.
A satisfied smile.
He looked at Eve and said, choking back tears,
"You... finally... returned..."
After those words, His arm fell limply.
In the next mont, His body suddenly disintegrated into the purest energy, flowing into Eve.
Along with it, His mories flowed in as well...
