Chapter 559: Chapter 493: It’s All the Elf Forest Evil God’s Fault!

September was the month when the season began to cool.

The hot sumr had passed, and the cool autumn had arrived.

However, in the Death Desert, even in early autumn, the high temperatures still deterred people.

Moreover, due to the end of the sumr rainy season, the autumn in the Death Desert beca even drier, coupled with the occasional off-season weather. The dryness and heat were enough to drive one crazy…

Only the thick-skinned and robust Half-Beast could adapt to such a climate.

The northern part of the Death Desert.

A human caravan laden with goods was slowly moving forward.

The caravan consisted of about sixty or seventy people and around twenty carriages, each marked with the emblem of a black eagle, which was quite striking.

It was the exclusive emblem of the Sorren Comrce.

The strongest among the caravan was a human warrior riding a cal, approximately in his thirties.

He wore leather armor, and on his chest was a black eagle badge, a token of the leader of Sorren Comrce, and a testant to his identity and status.

In Sorren Comrce, only a powerful Silver Professional would possess such a badge.

He would occasionally glance at the scorching sun in the sky, then take a sip from his water pouch, wiping his sweat while cursing,

“Damn this weather!”

Even a Silver Professional couldn’t endure such high temperatures until they advanced to the Golden Rank and underwent a complete physical transformation.

The caravan gradually moved forward, circumventing one barren hill after another, and finally reaching an oasis.

The oasis was not large, surrounding a shallow lake with lush reeds and desert poplars on its shores.

Surrounding the oasis were hundreds of large and small tents and thatched huts.

Strapping Half-Beasts, clad in simple leather armor or hemp robes, were bustling about.

This was a Half-Beast settlent.

The climate of the Death Desert was harsh, especially lacking in water sources. Only similar oases could beco places of life.

Seeing the Half-Beast settlent, the warrior leader of the comrce caravan finally breathed a sigh of relief.

The Half-Beasts also noticed the arriving caravan, causing a visible stir throughout the settlent.

Especially after noticing the black eagle emblem of the comrce caravan.

Scanning the Half-Beasts who gazed back with a mix of greed, curiosity, desire, and vigilance, and sweeping over their ragged equipnt and clothing, the leader warrior pursed his lips.

“Lower races are just lower races…”

he muttered to himself.

Even though humans didn’t even qualify as the Black Iron Race, he still looked down on these big fools with only muscles in their brains.

This was determined by the comprehensive strength of a race and the strength of the True God they possessed.

However, soon the leader of the caravan put on a warm smile.

He dismounted from the cal and shouted toward the settlent,

“Sharu! It’s Andris! Your goods have arrived!”

The voice of the Silver Professional carried far, quickly spreading throughout the settlent.

Soon after, accompanied by hearty laughter, a tall, scarred Half-Beast Priest erged from the settlent, surrounded by a few Half-orc Warriors.

He ca before the caravan and, taking in the sight of the fully loaded carts, appeared satisfied.

“Thank you for the hard work, Mr. Andris!”

he said to the leader of the caravan, who was Andris.

Andris glanced at him in surprise, unable to help but remark,

“Oh? You’ve advanced to Silver?”

This was a Silver Lower Priest!

It should be known that Silver Professionals were not common among the Half-Beasts. Even after the revival of Magic Power, due to the limitations of racial potential, there were still very few Silver Experts among the Half-Beasts.

Let alone a rare Priest.

In a small settlent like this, with a few hundred tents and a maximum population of no more than a thousand, excluding the old, weak, sick, and disabled, there would typically be only five or six hundred warriors, and it was usually unlikely for a Priest of silver rank to erge.

So… Andris was quite surprised.

He hadn’t engaged much in smuggling in the Death Desert, but he had once studied at the Imperial College and conducted specialized research on the culture of the Half-Beasts. He prided himself on having a fair understanding of them.

Upon hearing Andris’s surprise, the Half-Beast Priest nad Sharu beca extrely proud.

He chuckled and then, his expression turned solemn and gradually devout.

“Praise to Winter, praise to the hunt! It’s all the blessing of the Divine Crown of the Father God!”

He drew a bow-shaped symbol on his chest.

Andris had a slight realization, understanding that the other party must have been blessed by the True God, which allowed for the advancent in rank.

Afterwards, he gestured for the caravan’s subordinates to open the carts and said to the Half-Beast Priest,

“Here, the five hundred pieces of imperial armant you asked for, plus the grain, not a bit less. It’s all the latest; inspect it, inspect it.”

Upon hearing his words, the Half-Beast Priest’s eyes lit up,

“Wonderful! Now, our tribe’s warriors can perform at their full potential!”

He waved to the Half-Beasts behind him, who then ca forward to inspect the goods.

A mont later, the inspected Half-orc Warriors nodded at Sharu, and Sharu’s smile beca even more enthusiastic,

“I knew it, Sorren Comrce is always a friend of the Half-Beasts!”

“Mr. Andris, and all you friends of the Human Clan, please co into our tribe to rest and relax, you’ve had a long journey. We’ve already prepared drinks.”

he invited the caravan.

Andris nodded as well, directing the caravan to enter the Half-Beast Tribe to rest.
