Like other True Gods, Uller’s Divine Punishnt was also an area-of-effect punishnt indiscriminate of friend or foe.
It was because indiscriminate area-of-effect punishnt was the most severe punishnt of all, showcasing the majesty of the True God tolerating no blasphemy.
Not to ntion the statue being worshipped was usually carefully stored by believers.
In such circumstances, for it to still be desecrated, not only was the blaspher unforgivable, but the believers responsible for watching the statue bore significant responsibility too.
So, the target of Divine Punishnt was not solely the blaspher but also the negligent believers.
However, the problem arose here…
The only intelligent species in the Death Desert were Half-Beasts, not particularly bright ones at that.
Since everyone was an Uller believer, normally the places worshipping the statue were barely fortified. Who would think that suddenly a group of die-hard people would rush in to desecrate it…
And to do so as severely as possible, in all sorts of ways without any repetition.
This brought up another point.
The degree of Divine Punishnt also varied and was determined by the degree of desecration.
Desecration ranged from mild to severe, cursing the True God before the statue was one form of desecration, cursing and then urinating on it was another, and cursing, urinating, and then defiling it with dung yet another…
The more severe the desecration, the harsher the punishnt.
And annoyingly, every one of these Elves chose the most shaless desecration.
Urinating, defiling, smashing the statue had beco normal practices.
Even more outrageous were those who brought Goblins and used spiritual manipulation to make the Goblins commit unspeakable acts in front of the statue…
Unbearable…
