Chapter 683: Chapter 551: War God and Ancestor Dragon
This was a desolate world.
The sky was silver-gray, seemingly forever shrouded in a faint mist, with the fierce winds constantly howling, emitting a wailing sound.
On the ground, there was a scene of desolate desert, covered densely with weapons.
Knives, swords, spears, and so on… They were tilted and embedded in the sand, forming an endless sea of weapons.
*Almost every weapon that had ever appeared in the secular world, in the entire universe, could be found here.*
The dust was swirling in the wind, as if a storm was about to gather.
*Faintly, one could hear the clashing sound of tal, produced by the countless blades and swords inserted in the ground.*
*And every ti this happened, figures with bare feet and clad in sackcloth like ascetics could be seen in the desert.*
*They were scattered throughout the desert, varying in height and from diverse races.*
There were the humans, the most populous in the Segis World, and the rare One-eyed Giants; however, the most prevalent were the sturdy, dark green-skinned Beastn, the Lizardn with their bodies covered in scales, and the Giant Trolls with pale purple skin and large tusks.
They were barefoot, with solemn and devout expressions, continuously praying toward the center of the desert.
There was a snow-capped mountain range.
At the peak of the snow mountain, a majestic temple rose abruptly, piercing into the clouds.
From ti to ti, lightning flashed above the temple, accompanied by rolling thunder, emitting an aura of solemnity, holiness, and a hint of vastness and destruction.
Here was the Doomsday Kingdom…
One of the nine largest Divine Countries in the Heavenly Realm.
Its total area far exceeded that of the Segis World, the center of the universe, the origin of the laws, the place where the gods grazed their flocks.
And within the snow mountain temple, in the majestic and tiworn temple, two towering mythical beings sat on either side of a stone table, quietly playing a ga of war chess composed of black and white pieces.
The pieces were vivid and lifelike, featuring armored warriors, knights on horseback, priests holding magic wands, crowned lords…
“Lord Lord, how does it feel? This war chess ga gradually becoming popular in the secular world over this past year is quite good, right? I think it’s a nice pasti, especially… for beings like us.”
On one side of the chessboard, a little girl dressed in a luxurious Divine Robe spoke with a beaming smile.
She looked like an eleven- or twelve-year-old human girl, though she had an innocent face and was quite petite, her figure was rather voluminous; if one looked closely, they could see that her skin was covered with glistening scales beneath.
Her hair was golden, and her eyes were red with a constant rainbow-like flow in them.
Her Divine Robe was srizing gold, glinting as if crafted from gold, and adorned with a variety of even more splendid gemstones.
*Despite the dazzling jewels, the robe didn’t seem at all vulgar; in fact, it possessed a unique elegance and beauty, majesty and grandeur, especially when worn by the little girl.*
*When she finished speaking, the other mythical being playing against her remained silent.*
He was a giant clad in silver armor and a red cape, his appearance sowhat akin to that of a Beastman, with pointed ears and a bald head, slightly exposed tusks, yet his skin tone was more akin to humans, and his features were more in line with the aesthetics of the Human Clan, possessing a certain handsoness not found in Beastn.
His physique was robust, shimring with silver-gray Holy Light, and in his blue eyes, similar to those of the Beastn, there was a faint glimr of anger.
*Oppressive energy surrounded him, carrying an aura of destruction and vastness, yet the little girl playing against him seed oblivious.*
“Oh, by the way, this war chess was brought out of the Elf Forest, seemingly related to the second-generation Life Goddess. It’s said that her elven clansn introduced it into the Human World. A descendant of our race who traveled in the Human Kingdom saw it and liked it very much, so he sent it to too.”
The little girl continued.
Her voice was lazy and soft, as if she hadn’t fully woken up.
Upon hearing the words “Life Goddess,” *the expression of the silver-armored giant subtly changed.*
He squinted his eyes slightly, gave the little girl a deep look, and said in a low voice,
“Ulinos, I am not interested in the entertainnts of the secular world. If you want to find a playmate, please go sowhere else.”
*His tone carried a hint of aloofness.*
And the little girl called Ulinos lazily yawned, stood up, tiptoed to pat the silver-armored giant on the shoulder, and laughed,
“Don’t be so serious! Lord Lord, it seems to that ever since you ascended to powerful Divine Power, you have beco less fun than before. Although we are True Gods on high, we should also be beings with rich emotions.”
“If your emotions lean too much towards the divine offices of warfare and destruction, be wary of getting polluted by faith.”
After hearing Ulinos’ words, the silver-armored giant, Lord, said blandly,
“Ulinos, as a mber of the Ancient God Faction, don’t worry about our New God Faction. I have very important matters; please leave.”
“Don’t be so heartless! I rarely wake up, and it’s a rare occasion to co to the Heavenly Realm. I must enjoy it thoroughly.”
Ulinos said with a giggle as she took a gorgeous gemstone from her bosom, putting it in her mouth and chewing.
