Now reading: Chapter 717 - 565: Elemental Elf from Elf Kingdom: Game of the World Tree, a Action novel by Crunch.

"At the end of the day, everything was for balance."

"However, this balance wasn’t absolute. It could also be broken, and that was when a species was first created or when a unique individual was born..."

"The first generation of species and unique individuals could achieve great heights in four dinsions."

"The Primordial Elf was like this, as were the ancient dragons from several eras ago, and the geniuses among humans."

"But once life was born, it would be influenced by the rules of the universe, and the existence that affected the balance would inevitably weaken gradually through generations."

"Therefore, the dragons declined, and the Primordial Elf eventually beca ordinary elves."

"No wonder I kept failing at creation before. I wanted the life I created to have longevity and strong vitality, yet also high intelligence and growth potential, and to reproduce quickly... Trying to achieve the extre in four dinsions for a new race was fundantally impossible."

"If such a race could really be created, the whole world might change."

"Everything was about balance..."

Eve sighed softly.

*If she didn’t study the laws of her predecessors and instead explored on her own, to create a race she was satisfied with might take a very, very long ti...*

*It was very likely that she would endlessly pursue perfection, thus entering a vicious cycle of balance.*

"The laws of life were so wonderful... In this light, to create an elf clan with relatively balanced four dinsions, her predecessor was remarkable indeed."

"However, now that I know where my problem lies, I am confident now."

"Since it’s impossible to achieve the extre in all aspects, then sacrifice what is necessary, or rather... balance what is necessary."

"Fortunately, appearance wasn’t within the limits of creation; otherwise, it would have been a disaster for soone as vain as I am..."

At this thought, Eve waved the Life Scepter once more, wielding the vast power of life.

A majestic and sacred aura spread throughout the high temple as Eve’s ethereal and elusive voice resounded again:

"The new species I create must be rooted in energy form, have elents as their body, and feed on magic power."

"The species I create should have relatively long lifespans and the innate vitality of an energy life, able to survive in environnts suitable for themselves."

"The new species I create must possess sufficient intelligence, with a certain probability of giving birth to individuals who can grow rapidly and have high potential, a probability that will be strengthened in the first generation."

"The new species I create should have the ability to reproduce and form their own communities under suitable conditions."

"The new species I create should have a fantastical appearance, a kind nature, but know how to adapt..."

Dazzling light gathered in front of Eve.

Exuberant divine life power continually rushed into the light.

With every word Eve spoke, the colorful brilliance grew stronger.

And when Eve finished speaking the last sentence of True God’s Word imbued with the power of law, the radiant brilliance burst to its zenith...

In the next mont, the light converged, and Eve felt her divine power being quickly drawn away.

At the sa ti, a blurred silhouette was gradually forming...

"This ti it should work."

*Eve’s heart was restless.*

She did not hesitate and once more summoned a ball of divine power, sending the racial inheritance she had long prepared into the light...

A mont later, the light dissipated, and the extraction of divine power ceased.

Before Eve, a slender and beautiful figure appeared...

It was the image of the new race Eve had envisioned.

She had a countenance as outstanding as an elf, perhaps even more so, with her eyes tightly closed, and long, slightly trembling eyelashes that made her look exceptionally charming and adorable.

However, her body was much more petite than an elf’s, only slightly larger than a palm.

A gentle glow emitted from her body, exuding a warm aura, a mark unique to energy life.

She had a pair of wings like a butterfly, semi-transparent in energetic form, incomparably splendid.

The next second, she opened her eyes.

Her eyes, as clear as the sky and as brilliant as the starry sea, looked at Eve.

In those bright eyes, there was a sense of innocence and friendliness, along with the spirituality unique to intelligent life.

Then, Eve saw her flap her beautiful wings, fly before her, gently landing on her outstretched right hand, and respectfully and eagerly perford an adorable gesture, saying in a soft, childlike voice:

"Elental Elf, thank Mother Goddess for creation."

"Please, Mother Goddess, bestow a na."
