POV 1: Solomon Kane – Antarctica, Ice Rim of the Abyssal Trench

The wind tore across the ice, carrying whispers that weren’t his own. Solomon Kane stood on the frozen rim, staring into the hole he had erged from. The jagged tear in the world’s crust pulsed with deep blue light—ancient, rhythmic, and hungry. His armor whispered constantly now, the voice of mory returning in echoes.

He did not sleep. He did not breathe. And yet, he lived.

The blade in his hand shifted again, curling slightly like a tendril sensing prey. It wasn't a weapon, not in the traditional sense. It was a relic, a living thought sharpened by eons of vigilance. A sentinel's fang.

"You feel them too, don't you?" he whispered.

Reina's voice crackled through his comm. "Still here. Still trying to make sense of this. That pyramid... it vanished the second you rose. It folded in on itself and sank. Like it had done what it ca to do."

Solomon didn't respond at first. He knelt, placing his palm on the ice. A ripple of dark energy pulsed out, then faded. Beneath them, kiloters down, sothing vast was moving slowly. Tasting the breach.

"The Seal held for eons," he said. "But sothing on the other side is pushing back now. I need to know if Earth is still protected."

Reina's breath caught. "You think more of them will co?"

"Not think," he said. "I rember."

POV 2: Reina Morales – Recon Sub Starlance

Reina wiped sweat from her brow despite the cold. The sub’s power systems were stabilizing but barely. The last pulse from the trench had shorted half their instrunts, and the sonar now picked up signals that didn’t belong to biology or machinery.

She turned her chair toward the back, where the sealed compartnt held the relics they’d recovered weeks ago—Elven shards, human tech, and now… a fragnt of the abyssal glyph Kane had transmitted before rising.

She reached out and traced the edge of the symbol, etched in black crystal. It burned to look at, not physically but ntally. Her thoughts scattered like dust every ti she tried to focus.

"One guardian is not enough," she muttered.

Solomon had returned changed. But even he couldn’t stop what was coming alone.

POV 3: Jamie Lancaster – Geneva, Nightfall

She moved like a ghost through the UN Arcology’s diplomatic wing. Caras fuzzed as she passed, and lights dimd subtly. Jamie didn't question it. Sothing about Kane's last transmission had unlocked... sothing inside her.

The Elven Archives were buried three levels beneath the embassy proper, shielded by charms, tech, and treaties. She bypassed them all with a mix of stolen credentials and uncanny luck.

The archive door hissed open.

Inside, crystalline scrolls floated in anti-gravity rings. She approached the central pillar and keyed in the keyword: Seven Seals.

Dozens of entries flickered into view—ancient Elven myths, most marked with red glyphs aning "forbidden" or "erased."

One image stood out: A being armored in shadow and starlight, standing before a cracked gate held shut by seven rings of light.

The Abyss Knight.

It wasn’t human. But it was close.

Then a voice spoke.

"You should not be here."

Jamie whirled.

A tall woman in dark Elven robes stood at the entrance, hair like lunar ash, eyes burning silver.

"Who are you?" Jamie demanded.

The woman stepped forward. "A priestess of Luna. And a keeper of dangerous truths."

POV 4: Queen Elara – Forestia, True Gate Chamber

The chamber trembled.

The being from the Abyss had not left. It simply was, existing across layers. The priests lay unconscious, and the Gate’s surface shimred with visions of Solomon Kane—in full armor, his blade crackling with mory.

"You pretend to be gods," the abyssal voice echoed.

Elara stood firm, though the pressure in the air was like drowning.

"We are stewards," she replied.

The void-being almost smiled. "Then act like it. He stands alone."

Beside her, General Vyelar clenched his fists. "He is human. Their kind cannot carry this burden."

The being tilted its head.

"He was human. Now he is what you once needed and abandoned. The Wound bleeds again. And soon, all realities will rember pain."

Elara whispered to herself, "What have we forgotten...?"

POV 5: Mary – Earthwatch Orbital Station

Mary watched as Dyug stirred again.

His vitals spiked. His lips moved.

"The Chorus returns... one voice... seven faces... shadows walking on wings of sound..."

She activated ergency containnt, alarms echoing.

Yet her eyes never left the monitor showing Solomon Kane, now standing atop the ice, alone beneath an aurora warped by sothing ancient.

He had changed. But more than that—the world had changed with him.

POV 6: Solomon Kane – Antarctica, Departure

Solomon began walking. North. Slowly, like a man dragging the weight of eons behind him.

Reina followed in the sub from beneath the ice, trailing him.

With each step, the shadows around his feet deepened. Not in size, but in depth. They swirled, touching the edges of the real. Cracks began to follow his path, invisible to the human eye but etched in magical currents and leyline distortions.

He had beco a catalyst. A signal flare to enemies long buried and allies long forgotten.

A sound echoed from deep within the trench. A chorus.

Not screams.

Chanting.

Reina heard it too, even through hundreds of ters of ice.

"What now?" she asked.

Solomon paused.

"We find the others. The ones who rember the first war."

"Who are they?"

"The ones who never died."

POV 7: ??? – Unmarked Location, Frozen North

A cave deep beneath the Arctic permafrost.

Sothing stirred.

Eyes opened in the dark, and a voice whispered:

"He returns. The Gatebreaker wears the mantle again. The balance shivers."

A woman stepped forward—ageless, her body marked with abyssal runes.

She smiled.

"I wondered how long it would take."

Then she began to walk, and the ice lted in her wake.
