Among them, the simplest thod for creating a Cursed Tool is for a Sorcerer to infuse Cursed Energy and a Cursed Technique into a weapon over the course of years.
On the premise of several years, an ordinary weapon will gradually beco tainted with a 'curse' and develop special effects, becoming a Cursed Tool.
Based on their power and effect, Cursed Tools are divided into Grades 4 through 1, similar to Sorcerers.
The higher the grade of the Cursed Tool, the greater the intensity of the attached Cursed Technique. So Cursed Tools can even be used by non-Sorcerers, capable of killing people invisibly and without legal repercussions.
Therefore, in general society, Cursed Tools are often objects of high-value monetary transactions.
In short, a normal forging process can never produce a special Cursed Tool; at least one human life must be associated with it. This is also why, even though the Sorcery World has

Against her family's objections, she ca to Tokyo for school alone, and her current rank is a Grade 4 Sorcerer.
The reason she is only Grade 4 is because the Zen'in Clan applied pressure behind the scenes, making Maki Zen'in's path to promotion extrely difficult.
In terms of actual combat ability, she is completely on par with, or even surpasses, gumi Fushiguro, who is already a Grade 2 Sorcerer, and can easily exorcise Grade 2 Cursed Spirits.
Because she has neither Cursed Energy nor a Cursed Technique, she needs Cursed Tools, like special glasses, to even see Cursed Spirits.
Her combat style involves using various Cursed Tools. At Jujutsu High, she is the undisputed Cursed Tool expert, even serving as an assistant instructor when other students practice using Cursed Tools.
It was precisely for this reason that Satoru Gojo introduced her here to assist Emiya in his attempt to forge a Cursed Tool.
