Thinking about it carefully, Bologue and this eerie place indeed have a weird connection. From the beginning of his internship to later becoming a Negative Power User and leading a temporary action team, Bologue always found himself inexplicably intertwined with this place.
Fortunately, after today, this connection may be completely severed. This festering sore growing in Oubos needs to be excised.

This arrangent was to avoid escalating conflict with the Order Bureau. If both sides fielded avengers like Lebius, the negotiation might descend into a battle midway.
It was surprising how Lebius could calmly converse with Red Dog.
"After stepping into the wandering crossroads, we’re in enemy territory," Bologue explained tily. "This area is the Devil’s land, where the King’s Shield Guards hide."

The Fourth Seat nodded and glanced around again, sighing, "This is indeed a truly eerie place."
For the people of Oubos, the bizarre scenery of the Great Rift was already part of daily life, but to the Secret Swords, the anomalies here verged on the extraordinary.
The barren, unsettling buildings clung to the steep cliffs, and the aerial corridors connecting the complexes seed sturdy yet exuded a decaying aura, as if they could collapse at any mont.
Glancing at the aerial corridor ahead, where tal plates and wooden boards were interwoven and covered by diseased vines, resembling whips tangled together, seemingly beyond control. Walking here, it’s hard to tell when the ground underfoot might abruptly give way, dragging one into the Abyss below, with no chance of return.
"Bereft of life..."
The Fourth Seat murmured, reminded of the Pillar of Royal Authority, a grand structure, yet as lifeless as ruins.
Bologue led the team forward, acting both as a guide and a guide, providing a simple introduction to this loathso place.

A twisted aura pervaded the insides of the complex, and through small wooden-covered windows, strange patterns could be seen, seemingly traces of evil sacrificial rituals. The paintings on the walls were also twisted, mingled with dark stains, as if depicting so nascent evil force.
Apart from the advancing team, the Fourth Seat also noticed so figures faintly visible within the complex, fugitives living in the wandering crossroads. Every one of their eyes glowed with a strange, ghostly green, like ghosts bound to this darkness.
The Fourth Seat found it hard to imagine how such a complex ca into being, perched between cliffs where people had to cross obstacles with cables or cumberso ladders.
On these ladders, one often saw unidentified creatures flying out from hidden parts of the cliffs, their wings stirring the mist, striking fear into hearts.
Black fungi crept along the rock walls, appearing like cursed entities. Beyond a certain range, one sensed the stench emanating from those black colonies, like a malevolent flag warning that this place is far from safe.
The Fourth Seat couldn’t help but question, "You actually allow such an evil place to exist."
"Well, aren’t we here today to purify this place?" Bologue reminded, "We need to press on. Keep the Ether output steady; the mist below is toxic."
Bologue made no effort to hide the team’s presence. The Order Bureau’s seal certainly alerted the King’s Shield Guards. With their ties to the Tyrant, they were likely detected the mont they stepped into the wandering crossroads.
